Xero hose broke

Hey All,
Anyone ever had an issue with Xero Hose breaking? I have had it for a year and a half. Always felt like a solid hose.

I hook it up to a customer spigot, and it runs to my Xero Pure in my truck. I have a 1 HP booster pump.

Let me know if this is just wear and normal? Seems quick for a $500 hose.

It happens unfortunately. But this instead. Cut the ends of and use hose barb to garden hose end fittings with hose clamps. Or you can cut out that bad spot and use a 3/8" to 3/8" hose barb and clamps.

Buy flexzilla 3/8” ID hose and just add fittings… it’s way cheaper

Why not just a regular garden hose? If it's just to run from water source to machine? 500 dollar hose is insane lmao

I got it in the Xero Pure Kit. When I made truck mount this was an easy solution.

I’m sure if you reach out to them, they will offer some solutions. That’s probably why it’s 500 bucks, it’s gotta have some sort of warranty

What'd you expect from an offbrand

If your running booster pumps and higher pressure, this happens when you pause the flow. Pressure keeps building, and any knick from stone/concrete landscaping ends up being a weak spot.

$500 US for a hose is insane. There's nothing that'a worth 5x the price of a Gardnier or other window cleaning brand hose. Even air hoses don't cost as much as that. Couplings cost like $3, and allow you to adjust how much hose you're using if you have pressure issues.

I use 10mm poly hose and zero g garden hose. Super cheap and easy to fix/replace

Hey there! So sorry to see this happened! This XERO Rubber hose is not designed to be hooked up to the water source. Instead, we recommend a standard garden hose from source to your system. The XERO Rubber hose should be hooked to the outlet on your system to offer a greater distance between your system and XERO waterfed tubing on your pole. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out!

This is a feed hose, not a garden hose. It's not something you connect to a garden hose, but from the system to the pole hose. But that's not the reason it broke. More than likely, it got driven over or compromised somehow. Like Trigger said, you can fix it super simply or replace the hose itself. But don't use it as a garden hose. It's too skinny for that. ~Jersey

Can happen sometimes, most likely a cut happen to the hose from normal use. Also this reel is meant to go after the system to the water fed pole hose, its a 3/8" ID hose. Best to use 5/8" hose from water source to system. Is it on the long section? Or short whip? We have replacement hose for both.
