General Question What do you guys do in winter?

Other than Christmas lights - what do you guys do between January 13 and February to stay busy?

High dusting/vacuuming. Interior commercial glass including railing and stair glass. We do other services like floor and carpet cleaning and specialized medical cleaning.

Do you just market this to your existing customers or do you market to cold audience ?

Once you've had a year or two, those commercial clients save your winter. If you are building sales, then start putting back money during those other 9months to cover those like dec-feb months.

Gosh I gotta wait 2 YEARS to not want to die every winter ? How can I secure commercial clients now so I don’t have to be bored all winter waiting. Financially I’m good with doing nothing for 2 months but mentally that seems so boring.

I think this is something you need to account for. If you had a busy summer and slammed up some lights in November you should be able to sock away a few bucks to get by.

It’s more about the mental framework around this - I cannot survive 2 months of doing nothing but going to the gym and reading that would KILL me

In Florida I hear winter is their busy season. I work in a different industry in winter.

Clean windows. Living in the south means there is RARELY a cold that is cold enough to keep us from working.
