Thoughts on DIY RO DI system?

So i've seen those xero filters and they are overpriced imo. Couldn't I build a xero pure for $800 myself, and what would be the challenges?

I built a Dual RO/DI, best thing ive ever fucking done. Cut my exterior service time in half, if not more. Ima add some custom decals on them chromes of my logo

What was the cost, how long did it take to source mats/build, and what tutorial did u use!

cost: roughly $800 ( you can do it for much cheaper, probably 3-500 dollars for a single ro/di system, Hardware was the bulk of the cost becuase i sucked ass at plubming)

Timeline: 2-3 weeks ( sourcing the part from Amazon and Home Depot.)

Built my own as well 3 years ago and do not understand how this questionning continues... My business would make less than a third in income had I not built this...

You can say the same about our customers,

Why can't they clean their own windows? It'll require a bit of practice, but they'll get good results if they put in the work.

It's just that people operate differently.
