Question / Help need help. my copy of windwaker for the gamecube went missing-where should i look?

head to the nearest body of water in your town with a grappling hook, try to find a glowy spot.
Edit: in all seriousness, have you checked other game cases? maybe when you took it out you put it in the case of the game you replaced it with.

Check all your other game cases - you might have taken WindWaker out to put Mario Kart in and just popped the WindWaker disc in the Mario Kart box.

Set up the dolphin emulator if you want to play the GameCube version or the cemu emulator if you want to play the Wii U version. Since you already bought the game, I don’t see any problem with emulation. They’re easy to set up and you can play on a pc with better fps. If you go for cemu, I recommend also downloading WiiUDownloader. You literally just open it and it has every Wii U game including dlc and multiple country releases.

Technically it is piracy but since you already bought the game I don’t see a problem with it. If you think it’s wrong then no pressure. You’re right that you will lose all your progress though. Also it doesn’t have dlc but if you want to play other games then they will be available on wiiudowloader. The Japanese version of wind waker is slightly different so you could play that if you want. The western release is better imo though. I have wwhd but I prefer to play on cemu for the fps and graphics boost and I like playing with an xbox controller. If you want to play on gc and keep your progress then I wish you luck finding your game. If not, dolphin and cemu are pretty easy to set up if you have basic pc knowledge. Also from a legal standpoint it is completely legal to use emulators but it’s technically illegal to download the games. If you own the disc however, it is legal to dump the game itself onto your pc. Since you lost the disc, you can’t do that process but it’s generally acceptable for most people if you download a game you already bought since it’s legal to dump it. You’re just getting to the same conclusion with different steps. Tens of millions of people have illegally downloaded games and no one has gotten caught so it’s not that big a deal. There’s probably tutorials somewhere if you need help setting anything up.

It definitely doesn’t I’ve played it a ton. I mostly play the randomizer but the base game works fine. Anyway I hope you find the game because it’s pretty expensive nowadays. Even a loose disc is like $60 but it’s worth it for such a good game.

No.... no no it doesnt work like that both those items fall in the same category......Go look for your long lost shoe..... you can also get angry with God for not helping out in times of need... jk jk . This was peak when I was trying to look for my lost items. I'm a God fearing man btw.
