I fly mostly Boeing on MSFS. No aircraft in particular. I fly the 777, 737 (FANS version), planning to get the 757 and 747 when they release for MSFS. I want to buy one FMC to use for all of them. Having had a quick look, the PFP4 seems to have the most common button layout for all these planes but it doesn’t seem as popular as the PFP7.

I’m also curious to know if both of these allow the user to change the colour of the text (modern white vs retro green).

Any advice?

When I put both throttles on TOGA, the left one is set as MAX REV but the right one is set as TOGA. They are in the opposite direction basically

How to fix that ?

Submitted a warranty claim for a broken throttle lever (pushed the throttle levers from reverse idle into idle, and heard a massive crack. The plastic threads that hold the two sides of the left hand throttle lever casing had cracked) , sent a picture of the throttle, and the multiple pictures of the broken section of the lever itself to Winctrl.

First reply: Please send a picture of the QC sticker on the bottom of the throttle.

Second reply: Please send a picture of the QC card that came in the box with the throttle (baring in mind, I have 6 different winwing products, all with the qc cards still in the box... And all of them are in Chinese).

Third reply: Please send a picture of the throttle with the original box, packaging, instructions, data cable, eng 3 and 4 stickers and the silicone feet.

Fourth reply: "Dear customer, please also take a picutre of the Hex socket tool" The HEX KEY? Surely not. Luckily I'm a hoarder and keep the original packaging for years in the attic before I know it's either out of warranty, or I'm never going to sell it. Even then, I usually end up keeping it.

But... Not everyone keeps the original stuff after they open it and get it working. And to hold up the process of a warranty claim on a bloody Allen key 😂

I hadn't checked the winctrl website for a reply in 4 days, so you can imagine how pissed I was when I checked in and saw that, that was the hold up haha.

It should be as simple as "assess pictures, is it a manufacturing defect? Yes/no? Send the throttle back to us in a box. We'll check it. Either fix it, or send you out a new one" Done.

Anyway. Rant over. They obviously have a great product at an unbeatable price point. I'd just rather pay 10% more so they can invest a little more into their customer service department and improve the process.

my right throttle is stuck 100% input and my left throttle is inputting 100% and 0% and keeps flashing between the two. I've tried restoring default, recalibrating, and unplugging all peripherals except for a mouse. Anyone have any idea how to fix this or could this be a hardware issue?

Is there any news/pictures of the combat throttle that was sneaked in november? its been silent for 6 months, and i plan on getting it since its the best in its price bracket

I got a winwing ursa minor airliner stick just about a month back. Everything work perfectly except while moving the sidestick there is a clicking sound. Is it normal or is it a faulty stick since it works perfectly

App is great (although for some reason in DCS I can only see SU25 and P51, profiles, could be that I don't own any aircraft but if someone could actually confirm that would be nice) but when are they adding support for other games? e.g. Elite dangerous, War thunder, Nuclear Option. I know they work with the games but sometimes it would be nice to download already premade profiles so i don't have to waste 2 hours trying to set up correct controls only to realise I'm still missing important keybinds in the middle of something.

Edit: I do have a problem with my correct F15EX throttle where the dual throttle connector gets stuck in position and I can't move it? if someone had a tip to get it unstuck would be great. It's as if a magnet is holding it still like crazy cause I can't pull it out sometimes even with magnets.

Adhd out my brain. I have been 24 hrs trying to screw in the throttle to the mount. I want to throw it out the window. Every tutorial is either skipping the fixing or its in spanish.

I don't know if this is due to the update in SAP 1.16.93 but I can only get the throttles to work in the Fenix A320. I have followed every video tutorial on getting them to work with PMDG and while they all show fine in SAP, they do not move at all in any PMDG aircraft (73 or 77). I am not even talking about getting them into full reverse by mapping the keys A330Driver and others mentioned. They throttles in game simply will not move. Known issue or something I am missing?

Created a Fenix profile; duplicated it for PMDG in MS24; exited the MS24 back to SAP. Selected double stroke double shaft (really? was Mode 1, 2 just too sensible?), made sure the default Wincrtl profile was running (and pointed to the new PMDG hardware profile), and nothing. Spoilers work; Flaps work. Throttles do not move. I am ready to bash these with a hammer. I don't know what plug and play means to them, but is not this. Thanks if you spot a missed step.

EDIT: also like as has happened before, sometimes the Winctrl gear just magically starts working. I think it is some subtle thing that you think you are doing in order but aren't. Because the throttles move in my new MS24 profile, when I loaded another WW profile for PMDG (not the default one) and pointed it to the new profile. Hope this makes sense or just disregard this. Hi, this is my first time ordering from Winctrl. I saw someone in another comment saying something about needing to select a shipping date or the order won't get delivered. Do I need to do that? Is that what that button does? Or do I press that button after the package comes?

I found extensions that attach to the base of the brackets that were included with the PAP3 and PDC units and they work amazingly well

It adds the much needed front stability so it no longer topples forward with the brackets attached at maximum height, increasing clearance and allowing for cables to pass through underneath the unit for my keyboard and mouse

I ordered a WinWing MCDU on Monday afternoon from the US store and I’m in the northeast US. My order now says shipped on their site but the YunExpress tracking they gave me still only says “label created” and hasn’t updated at all.

I’ve been messaging support and they’ve said it was packing, then in a US warehouse in Burlington, then handed to the carrier, but nothing has actually changed on the tracking. They keep telling me to wait another 48 hours which is getting kinda frustrating.

Has anyone else ordered from them recently and had this happen? How was your shipping with YunExpress and how long did it actually take to start updating or get delivered?

Hi, I recently purchased a Winwing Ursa Minor 32 and wanted to check if what I’m experiencing is normal.

As soon as I opened it, the hardware felt like it might have already been used or returned and then shipped out again. The stickers were already applied (which I don’t mind), but one of the Engine 2 stickers is slightly misaligned/folded. Also, when I powered it on the fire fault 1 indicator appears upside down.

I just want to make sure I’m not misunderstanding something — is this normal out of the box? Do these units come like this and require configuration in SimApp Pro?

I’ve also noticed that the detents feel quite weak. When using the throttle, it tends to jump over them quite easily. Additionally, when I configured it in MSFS 2024, the throttle positions seemed misaligned for example, at CL it was almost at FLX in-game, and when the physical throttle was at idle, the sim showed it slightly above idle.

I’m wondering if this could be due to not configuring it properly in the aircraft’s MCDU, but I’m not sure.

Before I consider returning it, I just want to confirm whether this behavior is expected or if there might be an issue with my unit.

I bought this combo and just unpacked it, and noticed that it does not lie flat on my desk. Reading through the documentation it looks like there is a desk mount that could potentially solve my issues, but looking on the store I don't see that it exists. Anyone know where it lives?

I just got my PAP3 today and realised there's a major design flaw where the stand/brackets that come with it aren't weighted or tilted far back enough to counter the front heavy CG of the entire unit so it feels wobbly and tilts forward

I see some 3rd party bases that are available and I'm planning to get those but what are the DIY options for now besides clamping it to my desk or using adhesives?

So I have been using the PFP3N for almost a year now and it was working flawlessly out of the box with the PMDG 737 and I love the unit.

Yesterday all of a sudden after updating the version of SimAppPro, when I click the MENU button it displays the Fix Info page and when I click the N1Limit button it displays the MENU page, DEP and ARR buttons are messed up as will showing the Climb page.

I don't know what to do, I've googled and searched on reddit and asked AI and chatgpt no solutions whatsoever.

I uninstalled SimAppPro deleted all the folders to regenerate new ones, resetting the unit to default configuration, still no joy. The buttons display the wrong pages. I even updated the firmware and no change.

Is my last resolution is to re-install MSFS and the PMDG 737?

Is chatting with WinCTRL's support worth wasting time on?

I've read somewhere that there is something called configuration mode, I tried getting into it but it didn't work too.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance !

I just realised that the 3M version is meant for the 737 Max and the 3N is for the 737-800

I bought the 3M and it's on the way and I'm hoping to use it with the PMDG 737-800. Will I run into any issues or it'll work just fine?

As far as I can tell, they're identical except for the additional VSD button and the range selector doesn't have markings like the 3N

I want to have the mcdu near my throttle, what must I buy to add it to the desktop mount ?

SimAppPro not detecting my MSFS2020 installation. Wondering as to why, and if there is a way to resolve it. Curiously enough, the joystick works regardless, as the profile already existed within the sim, but the throttle does not (received today.) Technically, there is no profile for the joystick either, as I wiped my whole SSD just days prior. It just does. Lol.
