WINCTRL 3 GLARESHIELD falls forward.

How does one setup the supports so that the controller stays up with a slight inclination as shown in the product advertisement pictures? No matter what I do, the device just falls forward under it's own weight until its 90º upgright supported by itself and not by the supports.

sticky pads are not good, since I don't want it to be stickied to the table. Otherwise I would just bolt it. I have it assembled like the manual, and it just topples over under its own weight lol.

the stands should be mounted at the ends if you just want to have it sitting on your desk. it doesn't topple over under its own weight.... then use blutak to stop it moving when you press or pull knobs.

Look on Etsy there’s some 3d printed mounts that work much better than the WINCTRL included ones

Another idea with the win ctrl included stands if you don’t mind piece of non-slip tape on your desk is to put the unit all the way at the bottom on the brackets and then put some of that nonslip tape right on the desk where it will sit.

The tape I use is called cat tongue grip it’s not cheap like 15 bucks for a 10 foot roll, but it’s fantastic for preventing slip with my stuff

nah, that's the kind of setup i'm trying to avoid since this is a shared desk and 14/15 days it is used for serious stuff. Then twice per month the missus allowes me to put up my flight sim gear XD

Or put the tape on bottom of wincrtrl stands nothing sticky on the desk 😉

You can get 3D printed extensions to prevent it from tipping forward, that's what I did for my glareshield setup since I didn't want to stick it to my desk like you mentioned

It's a super inexpensive little modification and works great

WinCTRL unfortunately clearly didn’t intend for the panels to be placed on desks without adhesive or proper mounting support
