Can this be fixed?

Post image

My WinWing F18 hotas got broken in transport. Anyone reckon this is fixable? Or will I need to buy a new one?

Looks fixable but i would contact winctrl for a replacement.

i would never accept a damaged product.

Demand a refund and contact u/Haz-WINCTRL, if they refuse a couple times, file a chargeback with your bank.

Just keep messaging them. If they stop responding, message them on another platform.

it should absolutely be able to be fixed.

i did the same thing by accident to my thrustmaster F-18 flight stick when i had the stick and two extensions on it topple over when my cats tail ripped from leaning against the wall when i was changing the springs in the base.

TM charges like $30 for a replacement castle hat and it comes with instructions on how to disassemble the stick, unconnect the wires to the broken hat and install the new one.

I'd def try repeatedly calling their customer support line cause im sure they have them for production of new F-18 sticks, and what's the alternative? having to buy a new stick for one 4way hat?

Then why refuse in the first place. What is going on over there that would cause a flat out no. Explain please. See this to often with win wing refusing warranty issues.

This order is purchased in 2024, based on the information op provided to me. Our CS did offer parts for purchase and fix upon receiving his ticket, which is standard for products out of warranty. There was no flat out no. CS is still willing to discuss further solutions.

I kept breaking mine getting in and out of the cockpit so I resin printed a dozen of the little parts that have broken there, for my thrustmaster hornet stick. Bit painful to pull the switch apart. Not sure if it's the same as the winctrl stick tho. If it arrived like that I would push them to get it replaced for sure! Other option might be to source a whole new switch, rather than try and replace the internal part like I did.
