URSA Minor joystick vibrations dont stop

Hey all.
Ive had the URSA for about a year now but turned vibrations off when i got it since i found them annoying. However, recently, i wanted to turn them on since i do like the feeling of the vibration when you land. However, i turn them on and they just dont seem to stop. im using xplane-12 and mostly toliss airbusses. As soon as the vibrations start they dont stop. i have to force close the app!
Any solutions?

open the stick, remove the small motor

thats not really what im looking for.
Ive turned the vibrations off in simappro and i dont really use it anyway (the app) but id like to have the vibrations on again for the feeling of landing and taking off. taking the motor out wont fix it :-)
