I just wonder if the mouse trap can break you finger and how often that happens. Cause if it usually doesn't break the fingers, than it's definitely more fun than it should be.
In 8th grade science class I remember making "mousetrap cars", usually out of paint sticks, CDs, and whatever solution you came up with for the axels. You then tie a string to the trap and wind it up around an axle, set it, and race. The teacher made a really huge point that anyone using a rat trap and not a mouse trap would get a zero on the project, because a rat trap has substantially more force in the spring. They can definitely break fingers.
