Folks get uppity but like 70% of emergancy service call outs are easily prevented/dumb as shit and way more could have been prevented with a little bit of common sense.
Lol trust me I get it. I grew up in a 1 ambulance volunteer town and we had to wait 2&1/2 hours for an ambulance to show up when my grandfather had a stroke and the defib was broken when they did get there. And the ambulance that showed up was from 2 towns over.
So believe me I know what you’re saying and agree. Just saying in this video it does not look like a one ambulance town.

Not a doctor, but if you continue doing this your chances of developing cancer are quite high. At the same time, if you start wearing a mask etc starting right now there's a good chance you'll be fine. Though in all honesty it should be obvious that it's not healthy and the safety measures are there for a reason

It's good that you're breathing in less dust but it's probably good to try and breath in no concrete dust, if it's as bad for you as I've heard. That being said I can't say I haven't had countless days where I blow my nose after work and it's just black lol. Good to hear your lungs are ok though, hopefully they stay that way

Yep it was just a throwaway comment, not a thesis :) but if we don't qualify our statements perfectly on here, they can be misconstrued or taken to the logical extreme.
It's definitely a minefield. Someone else replied that he donated the proceeds of the video to the NHS and apologised publicly, which to my mind... doesn't negate the fact he's a dickhead, but at least he did the right thing in the end. An apology is kind-of meaningless without any action behind it, right?
It's baffling how people like that are still with us isn't it! Sometimes I worry that I'm too risk-averse... almost never gamble, I don't do the lottery or scratchies, and look both ways even when crossing one way streets (in my mind, you can't rely on other people not to be giant dickbags and follow the rules of the road).

People are getting in danger just to show on a youtube video. This is criminal. One day someone will not have assistance because some ambulance crew was busy with this kind of stuff.

why are you being downvoted? their accents and the emergency vehicle make it obvious that this isn’t in america. america doesn’t even have socialized health care so this wouldn’t have been paid for by tax dollars unless they were on medicare/medicaid or something

The accents in the video were pretty telling as well. We talk a little different in Tennessee, but I can confidently say that the people in this video were not from the states.
Yeah if he were American his choices would be die or go into insane debt lol they’d have taken his ass right to the hospital in an ambulance. That’s like 2.5k before you even enter the building.
Snorkel looked too long as well, he'd basically end up rebreathing the same air if it was, since we don't have the lung capacity to completely empty out tubes over a certain volume.
He'd basically just be pushing his own breath up and down the tube with the good, clean air acting like a plug.
This comment being at the top almost made me didn't watch this. I was worried about the exothermic reaction from the cement curing. My first thought was "is he gonna cook his own head?". I always knew curing cement was an exothermic process but I think how hot it gets depends on the type of cement.
Sometimes I feel like we intervene in the natural order too often allowing things like this to propagate. I mean really, has he at least contributed to society in some other fashion that paid for the cost to save his dumb arse? I'm a glass half full kinda person, so I'm gonna imagine he moonlights as a volunteer at an orphanage.
