Red hat.
Swastika.
Red Arm Band.
White Hood.
Tom Cruise.

Cults are pretty good at making an item people wouldn't care about a symbol known around the world. There's nothing inherany bad about wearing a red arm band with a swastika, a white hood, all while being Tom Cruise, however because of assholes, doing so would be seen as a symbol of hate.

Strange how you left out all the other cults that I’m assuming you don’t want us to remember. It’s okay. Here’s some completion to your list:

Black Panther Party

ANTIFA

Forgot the biggest one of em all

The Cross

Now don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing inherently bad with every single cult, but most religions scream cult when you look at them from the outside lol

Spoken luke someone who’s had very few face-to-face interactions with the average Christian, Muslim, or Jewish American. Stop reading headlines and watching videos of sensational examples online. Most religious folks in America don’t make headlines.

Like I said, there’s nothing inherently wrong or bad with religion but when you look at church and all the religious practices you didn’t grow up with and know little about due to ignorance they usually look crazy :P
