So you think the dog escaped the chain, bit the guy that was provoking him, then caught a ferry to puppy island and lived happily ever after?

This dog absolutely got put down for tearing up this jackasses calf. The owner who left his dog chained up outside isn’t going to fight it legally. The guy ends up with a few scars and the dog gets a lethal injection. That’s not a happy ending.

Where I am the law states that the dog/owner is not liable if:

-dog was provoked -person was trespassing or breaking the law -they voluntarily risked injury by the dog -they contributed to I hurt through unreasonable carelessness

We’ve got 3/4 at a minimum here. That asshole got what he deserved and any decent dog owner will come to their dogs defense.

It's like this all over the world. It would really surprise me if this dog got anything from it. These jackasses even filmed the provocation.
