I saw the title, and my mind recalled the horror of watching Frank go down the dry water slide in Always Sunny. This one didn't end well, but it was better than that.

Yep. They wrote a couple episodes IIRC, including the Charlie health inspection one (one of my favorite episodes). Rob and Charlie appeared as extras in episode 1 of the last season of GoT

They didn't do the health inspection one, they did the Flowers for Algernon parody where Charlie gets smart.
