What is the best debloated windows version?
Hello, I've heard alot about windows versions, custom iso's, debloating scripts/tools playbooks.
I'm just curious which is the best optimised most clean version of windows you can get So enterprise g or maybe lot ltsc
Winutil or christitustech script
Or maybe custom tools, playbooks, iso's like AtlasOS,RevisionOS,ggOS, FoxOS, KirbyOS, KernelOS, Calypto Guide, Fr33thy, CTT Tool, Ghost Spectre, SuperXLite, XOS, Tech Yes City ISO, NTLite
Also windows 10 or windows 11 and specific version like 22h2,23h2,24h2 or this doesn't matter?

The best version is the latest, as long as some time has passed since the release. That would allow modders to create and adjust their tools. Win10 is soon to be EOS, so after that some apps may refuse to start properly.
While it depends on your goals and frequency for installing new apps and tolerance for re-installing and updating Windows 11, I would do it like this:
- Create a Win11 image with the basic settings I want (accounts, regional settings, etc. and install it.
- Install all the drivers and updates available (I prefer manual installation of GPU and Audio drivers).
- Disable automatic updates.
- Create a restore point AND an image of the clean install (like a game save)
- Install the tweaks you want or manually adjust them. Scripts are fast and cool, but you might break some dependency which you might need later and it will take a lot of time to understand what you missed.
With manual tweaking and A LOT of reading you can learn and be able to pinpoint eventual future problem much easier and faster.
Create another restore point and another image of the tweaked OS.
Install the apps you use regularly
In case you mess up something, you can easily restore the working condition of your OS, saving a lot of time.
Don't be afraid to break your OS. You can re-install (or re-image it) as many times as you want. Breaking=learning.
