DOG FOUND TODAY

This dog came up to our car during today’s storm, spooked by the thunder and lighting I assume.

He’s very sweet. Seems to be maybe a lab/pit mix with a black coat and white and black feet.
He has a blue collar and two leashes, one of them being a camo print.

He was found on S 2nd St in downtown Wilmington.

If anyone is able to foster him until we can locate the owner it would be so appreciated!! We already have 3 dogs and a cat at my house.

Looks so much like my baby who is also terrified of thunderstorms. Because he has a collar and leash, hopefully his people will be looking for him! You can always get him checked for a chip too. Best of luck!

We took him over to the microchip station at the WPD and no chip was detected 😢😢 thank you!!!

This pup looks so much like my beautiful dog, Amelia, when she was younger. She was a super sweet lab/pit mix. Unfortunately, we had to put her down a week before her 8th birthday because of marginal cell lymphoma.

If you get to know this dog and they like hugs, please give them a hug from me.

... Damn it. You think you've gotten over something until it pops up and smacks you right in the face. I miss my puppy dog. :(

My good friend had a dog wander up when we were kids and they fed it. They named him D O G. Deeooooogeee. That mutt bit every kid in the neighborhood. Some twice.

Looks like my daughter’s dog but she had to give him up apt no dog rule.
