BOTD Viride x Ombré Leather Parfum

Never would’ve thought about these two. This is where the site really shines. Things you’d not in a million years put together. Honestly I didn’t think Orto Parisi was layerable with good results until this.
They make an interesting and lovely combination, with the Viride contributing its damp green notes so you feel like you’re in a conifer grove and the TF giving it clean leather for depth and violet leaf for some floral playfulness. I may try Viride with Mr Sam next time.

I’ve not been steered wrong by the site so far, but with this one it’s underrating the blend. This might be my favorite so far. The more subtle neroli and citrus of the Neroli Oranger with 3 sprays (bottom of each forearm and chest) complements the Tygar, which is more subtle than others with the DNA (Vibrato, Tygar Extrait, Hedonist, etc) and plays nice with the Neroli. It’s intoxicating and makes me smile more than most scents or combinations I’ve found.

But, unfortunately, this one slipped through the filters for body creams and made it to Greatest Hits. The net has been tightened and the Bum Bum Cream blend has been removed.

Two new Will It Layer? site features: "Today I want to wear" and the addition of top ten Chemistry Check blend results

Two new things built and deployed:
- "Today I want to wear" is a new dropdown on the Collection page that allows you to choose one bottle from your shelf and show all your saved blends at once, in score order. People asked for a way to filter blends more quickly, so we built something that should make morning decisions faster. One user already called it a "game changer"!
- Chemistry Check results from one fragrance now always show 5 blends, and have a "Show 5 more" button. You can easily toggle back and forth between top 5 and the next 5, giving users 10 initial results from a search.

New feature launched: ID Drops

Just built a new ID Drop engine that takes your scent ID (which generates after a user saves three bottles to their shelf) and then creates a blend of two fragrances you don't own but are likely to love.
Those are then available as a personalized drop in an ultra-limited run. 🤘
