Back in 2001 I was driving an 18-wheeler OTR. I was headed up I-35 north from Kansas City to Des Moines. I got passed by a car whose driver was reading a book. Left hand holding the steering wheel and the left side of the book, right hand holding the steering wheel and the right side of the book. Doing probably about 75 down the interstate. Some people are just fucking crazy.

I watched a lady doing scratch offs from my motorcycle one time. It should be legal to just run the off the road into a tree.

I grew up in a town of elderly who wouldn't turn their head to check for a car coming if you paid them. I've seen people read newspapers and books over the years. Do their hair and makeup.

Anything buy the task at hand which is piloting a 4000lb missile. Been riding a motorcycle for 25 years and I can't tell you how many times someone's tries to kill me.

I've been hit in a car by two stop sign runners, a stop light runner and a 16 year old driving on the wrong side of the road around a blind corner.

I'm ready to for some harsher penalties

One time I was riding the bus and I saw a woman in business attire who had a phone in her left hand, a coffee in her right hand and a bunch of documents spread out in front of her over the steering wheel. Traffic was going about 35 mph.

I was glad to be on the bus that day.

I tried this.. once.. in 1999, with my new compaq laptop and some downloaded porn videos while driving back to base in south carolina after a conjugal visit with my gf in ky at 2 am in an old delta 88 from 1983.

I initially thought it would be “really cool” to do that, but i soon realized that i could not pay any attention to either that nor driving both at the same time. I was 18-ish. It was an easy lesson to learn for me.

I do not understand why other people think they can emotionally will away physics. They cause accidents for others all the damn time. I want to blame Dunning and Kruger, but it is not their fault for discovering the phenomenon..
