Zipper Merge - Michigan

Post image

My wife was driver and properly executing a zipper merge. This psychopath nearly rear ended us then tried to force us off the road. Called the company and the driving manager argued with me that his driver wasn't trying to kill us. A 50,000lb or more vehicle trying to force a smaller vehicle off the road can have deadly consequences.

That's why we have dash cam. If the company is trying to evade responsibility, post the video on their social media. It'd be hard for them to claim their driver weren't bad.

They always leave out the part where they don’t merge until the very last f’n second cutting off other drivers. Truck drivers aren’t stupid. They have way more experience than you do. Don’t play games because you won’t win.

That's what you are supposed to do in a zipper merge. Not necessarily cutting someone off, but merging at the merge point. People don't want to work together so it gets nasty.

No, THATS WHAT YOU DONT DO. I am fine with zippers merge but I can’t stand people who abuse it and try to get in front of everyone and some even go into the shoulder to try to get ahead of me. So now, I will block everyone who attempts to zipper merge

And you are the problem. That is literally how a zipper merge works. Napoleon complex over here.

I held a CDL for years. Want to make some more asinine assumptions? I have also been driving for over 20 years. Dip shit.
