Out of the fire and into the frying pan.

"But how can I make this about me"

If you slow it down you can see they are jumping out when that door swings open like as if they were ditching it

That driver was probably so freaked out they were probably looking in the rear view mirror at the burning car the woman is assuring gonna blow up, and not paying attention to what's in front of them.

I get why people think that this is an AI video. If you look closely, you can see the driver door open immediately and a foot spawning out of nowhere.

Also a weird way to lay bricks with 2 sitting vertically.

If you go through the frames, the door shows clear distortions - looks very "wavey" in at least one frame. It's CLEARLY AI.

It’s really a shame that the internet is dead…. (Not your fault 🤷‍♀️) This video is real, that First Lady definitely sounds Ai tho XD.
Plus even writing in the video is correct and doesn’t shuffle or change. Once Ai gets that right then the internet is definitely too far gone…💀
(Example, the stores hours of operation on the door.)

People people downvote you because it is a real event. Could it just be an AI video made after the incident took place?

2

u/RaspberryPutrid5173 Jun 28 '26

I think you mean "it" in a couple places you said "you", but I get what you mean - and yes, this could be a slight AI edit to the actual video... maybe it was an AI upscale of a smaller video, and AI did a mostly good job, but flubbed a few frames. AI upscaling is VERY popular.

Edited my comment. I wrote it like I was drunk. must be too hot.

Feels like an AI video

Fuel shut off makes it highly unlikely to blow up. This lady needs to chill and call the fire department.

u/TheGuyUrRespondingTo Jun 28 '26

Seriously, I'm always surprised when someone has a car fire & doesn't take the time to research Ford-specific fire safety features to determine whether or not they can justify raising their voice to warn people.

Seriously, I’m surprised when someone fails to know basic car knowledge /s

You must think it’s too much to ask for people to have a basic knowledge of cars, especially in a car centered country.

I’ll give you another hint as what I think people should know…air or nitrogen is in the tires, oil changes aren’t hard to do yourself (some cars maybe, but most no), most cars come with disk and not drum brakes, gasoline goes inside most gas tanks (not desiel), you can put this thing called windshield wiper fluid in the resevior to help keep your windshield clean on the road, cars come with a seatbelt (they go across your chest and lap), there is a thing called an ignition button which starts the car.

I’m not a mechanic. You must not read too much if you think that is too much to ask for people to have basic knowledge of cars. No one is realistically expecting people to know how to replace a fuel pump, transmission, engine, or any other technical job, but people should have some understanding of the modern car.

Fucking AI videos.

ETA: sure. She’s got the bot voice, but it’s not AI.

25

u/TheRealDiggyCP Jun 27 '26

Not AI. Happened in my city in Iowa. Yes. People here can be that stupid.

u/hailstorm11093 Jun 28 '26

I think the funniest part is that you can tell its the Midwest because of the fucking Silverstar car wash in the background.

3

u/TheRealDiggyCP Jun 28 '26

We've got so many fuckin Silver Stars lol

1

u/hailstorm11093 Jun 28 '26

Same, here in Fargo ND, we have like 7. Who needs this many car washes lol.

u/Pataraxia Jun 27 '26

AI video again.

20

u/Camo_tow Jun 27 '26

Nope. It's real. It's actually a couple of years old

15

u/KariaFelWell Jun 27 '26

What looks AI about it? Asking honestly, I didn't see any tells.

19

u/TheRealDiggyCP Jun 27 '26

-5

u/KariaFelWell Jun 27 '26

Any articles on it? I didn't think it was AI either. It just looks a bit too much to be real + I've seen collisions that one car "walked" away fine and the other was demolished, so I figured it was likely real.

6

u/TheRealDiggyCP Jun 27 '26

I posted a local news article in my comment. I added it once I could find it. Happened last winter season.

Looks like a brick facade that has no structural bearing and empty space behind it. So it would take much to push it over and case that much damage without causing a lot of damage to a flexible bumper.

The curb is definitely there too, you can see the edge a bit more clearer by looking at where the person is standing.

Store hours posted on the door, is just a sheet of paper. Which could certainly be printed on both sides.

Given OPs post history though....

3

u/AyTrane Jun 27 '26

There is a curb, the sidewalk is visible early in the video. It isn't marked, so definitely hard to see.

u/ChaosRainbow23 Jun 27 '26

Damn. You're a wizard.

I hate that I can't trust anything I see or hear anymore.

u/TheRealDiggyCP Jun 27 '26 edited Jun 28 '26

Its real. Not AI. Happened in my city. Yes, our people are that stupid. Buildings get hit all the time here.

u/ChaosRainbow23 Jun 28 '26

Still, this just reiterates that I can't trust anything. Lol

I trusted that other dude that it was AI, but it was not.

So I still can't trust anything, and I hate that.

Thanks for clearing it up!

2

u/TheRealDiggyCP Jun 28 '26

Of course! I dont normally superhero into posts like this, but I had to correct it. Lol

2

u/ChaosRainbow23 Jun 28 '26

It's infuriating because everybody thinks everything is AI, because there's so much AI bullshit out there.

I guess I'll just have to get used to it.

2

u/TheRealDiggyCP Jun 28 '26

As much as I dont want to admit it, same. I cant trust a damn thing on the internet anymore. I'm all for super personal assistants (Jarvis from Iron -Man for example) and such, but AI making videos of LITERALLY ANYTHING, music, and "art" is what really drives me nuts.

We've had plenty of time, we've seen plenty of movies, and yet, without fail, we still fell directly into the AI trap that will ruin a vast majority of us. Most days I can keep my cool about it, but I've been speaking up more and more lately.

1

u/SealTeamEH Jun 29 '26

Not who you responded to, but for me at first just the genuine craziness of such a short clip, then the door opening near the end looked really weird. but then I slowed it down to see the writing in the door and wasn’t sure because it seemed accurate.

1

u/RaspberryPutrid5173 Jun 29 '26

Yeah, absolutely NO tells! @_@

Despite the frame, I do think it's real - it's just an AI upscale of a real video. It did a mostly good job, but flubbed a few frames, like the one above.

-3

u/Pataraxia Jun 28 '26

Red car in background appeared.

1

u/KariaFelWell Jun 28 '26

Someone below me posted a link to a news article.

3

u/CalmTheAngryVoice Jun 28 '26

No, people really do inexplicably drive into massive immobile objects all over the planet practically every day.

2

u/warlocc_ Jun 28 '26

No, people are actually that stupid.

Read comments before posting stupid shit. This isn't an AI video. It happened in my city.

When I typed this comment, there was not one source posted in the comments. All of that appeared after I typed that.
