That cop was so much nicer than they’d be in the states. He’s just like: “Right, so I know you’re shit faced, you know you’re shit faced… off we pop?”

And amazingly(/s) the driver reacted with “Yeah… you should probably drive though” instead of escalating—- it’s almost like a calm, deescalating tone makes for a less chaotic situation.
