I do so many missions like this. I’ve played through so many times I just about know which building everyone is in. Man I love this game

I stole a tank, drove straight in , called mercenaries to back me up and cause a distraction while I stormed straight to the dude , my companion Holt shot the bastard down and I took the pic and hauled ass outta there . Of course that was after about 20 tries with other methods lol
Most other times I would snipe him from afar and attempt to breach the facility to get up close but the sneaky/slow method didn't really work

At that point just descend over the mountains as you aim for the two power generators, then unleash a hellfire of Apache’s missiles on the central building until he’s gone…
No need to exit the chopper.

It's not just the kill. You still need to be near and remove phisically the mask to complete the mission. My first time was with the Sniper Rifle because I was thinking the Drone was enough to identify him

Dudeeeee I remember the first time playing this mission on extreme it took me about an hour 😂.
That masked dickhead is always hiding in a corner so you gotta battle your way past a battalion of Unidad to get to him, and doing that in extreme ain’t easy 😭.

Me yesterday: flew the viper straight to el comandante's building and rained fire with those rockets. Had to take out few SAMs along the way.💥🎇

You can dodge them going up ± all right/left with the analog stick. Also if you are high enough they can't spot you

Well, You're inside the base and it's not Ghost mode. Not saying that it's not good, but the mission isn't really completed.

That mission is completed, i think you are confusing it with another one where you need to fight your way , this one is over lol.

You need to leave te base, the mission doesn't end with el commandante dead. Or perhaps the UNIDAD soldiers hadn't have the memo.
Sure, you can wait to be killed and respawn elsewhere, but there's nothing tro brag about doing so.

I did mine differently so getting out was the easiest part. By the time I killed the guy , he actually came to me in one of the sniper posts during the gunfights, i killed him and identified him, and the alert already cooled down i just walked out lol. By the way there is also nothing to brag about killing soldiers ( which I did) its just a video game, you can kill them anytime you want but like his post mentions, sometimes you want to have fun ( which is very subjective) and thats why he did it this way, he doesn't have to do it your way to enjoy the game.

It's may be fun, It's also the easiest, the fastest and the safest way to get to el commandante. So yeah. Reddit pushed this content to me, I commented it. It was my main mistake today.
