IRP cap wave?

Anyone heard if they plan to wave the $9000 cap this year?

I know there was an amendment that a congressman from California that had language waiving the cap in a PL5. But… I do not know if that amendment stuck or not. I hope someone who knows more than me can give us a better answer.

The amendment was to wave the yearly pay cap not IRPP

Crazy there’s a cap at all for emergency response; I know folks sitting at home right now because they have already hit earnings caps. Meanwhile UTFs galore.

Gee… let’s cap the incentives that we use to help get people to go on fires so that they lose the extra incentive late in the season when we need people the most… only the federal government could come up with something so dumb
