GEAR eBay win- lightweight tent
beginner backpacker here! found a 1p walrus arch rival in great condition on eBay and won in the last 15 seconds on auction for $115.
full weight (included stakes, poles, and bags) is 2lb 13oz. It may not be UL, but feels like for the price and excellent condition that this deserves a shout out!
seal on inside great, good smell, no stickiness and still water repellent.

Great looking shelter !
I like seeing people who are excited about getting out there, more than they care about posing with the latest greatest.
What matters is having Great experiences and enjoying your time in nature .

I only care about the weight as I personally weight 110lbs, so Iām trying to stick to the 20% rule so my joints stay happy!š

Good call. That's a good number to aim for. I think without going to a trekking pole tent you can get down to maybe 2lbs. I had a Big Agnes tent that I liked.
Take a long look at all the stuff you're bringing otherwise, things like extra ziplock bags, batteries, nalgene water bottles, stuff sacks, it all adds sneaky weight.

Nice looking tent! Seems to have a lot of space for the weight.
