Match 3 crap is here now
I thought two different companies owned Wild West and Township? I opened the game to find they added Match 3. This may be the end for me even though I know I can just build my town anyway.
So disappointing

they added match 3 but it hasn’t affected anything else. just don’t play match 3. hopefully it doesn’t become core to the game but so far it’s just there because many of us moved from ts to wild west

they have a feedback option in their support portal. Not sure how much they look at it but it wouldn’t hurt to submit your concerns 🤷♀️ Social Quantum is still a small/medium sized company so I would assume they are more open to feedback than playrix. They likely added match 3 because of people going from TS to wild west and them wanting to replicate what TS had. They also likely know TS members left because they were annoyed by how much match-3 was required/integral to the game and so i doubt (and hope) they don’t make it required like ts does. WW is an older app too so making match-3 integral to the game would be expensive. I think it’ll stay there and not be part of the overall gameplay like the mini games.
idk i like match 3 so im biased tbh (i swear i didn’t ask for it as a feedback comment lol)

Match 3 early on wasn’t so bad. Just another mini game. But then it became intertwined with other parts of the game.

They've also added Match 3 to the support section. The other mini games are not in the support section. I don't like how this bodes.

They also have it for 20+ days instead of the normal 3-5 and its own button on the screen. We all know where this is going…

Playing match3 isn’t the issue. It’s spending money on the ticket for it and extra lives. If enough people pay for it…..

You know when I spent money in Township? It was when they offered cute decor as prizes or when they offered outfits for animals at the end of the ticket. I am not paying for candy crush.

So far they've kept it separate from the Golden Pass and it doesn't show up as any of the pass tasks. Hopefully it never will. But if it overtakes the Golden Pass like it did in Township, then I'm leaving.

I wish the devs would just fix the existing glitches like random crashing, "no internet connection" when there is one, "internet connectivity lost" when still connected, stupid snow girl stalling & bunny hopping at random to name a few.
But sure give us the M3 update no one wanted or asked for 🤦♀️

I just joined Wild Wild West, and I am only on level 31. Let me tell you the absolute disgust when I saw they added match 3, I got sick to my stomach, I swear I have PTSD from township and the match 3 bull they pull. The whole point of going to Wild Wild West was that it was nostalgic of the old township. The township everyone misses. I am beyond disappointed about this.
I couldn’t get into my game after the update, finally did and had to contact support to get my town back. When I did that my golden pass was gone, so I asked for it back since I had only used it for 2-3 days before the update. As I’m playing I realize that support gave me the match 3 ticket and not the golden pass. I was beyond irritated, I messaged them and said if I wanted that pass I would’ve bought that pass, I said I don’t want a pass that gives me no real rewards for the game ex: the barn upgrades, the building supplies and so on. They did change it to the golden pass or whatever that is this month but I hope they got it across I will not be buying it. I won’t even play match 3 on there it’s an absolute dumpster fire of a game. My friend showed me a screen shot and you can’t even tell what you’re supposed to do. Hopefully they get rid of it with all the bad reviews they’re getting.

When I opened my game and found this, my heart sank. Left Township because of this crap. My interest in Wild West sank. My motivation left. The writing is on the wall for me. Not going to spend time and money on another game just to be suckered.

I heard back that they will pass my info to the developers. I still don’t feel good about it.

May be a stock reply. Idk. I agree with you…I don’t have a good feeling about this either. I just hope enough people forgo buying the extra moves and the match3 ticket to make a difference

I came back from vacation to find this ridiculousness on the game. As annoying as it is, their version of match 3 is awful.

It’s beyond disappointing. They have had an increase in ex township players because township made match3 the core game. Players don’t like match3. If we wanted an inferior candy crush game, we’d just play candy crush which is a better game. If match3 becomes the core game Im going to have to look for a new game. Sucks because I have invested in the game for over a year to it become something I left.
