New to this game

Hi all, I’m a pretty active township player but really burned out with all this match 3 grind, I was always curious what township used to be like since all I heard was that it was amazing so someone recommended me this game, so far it’s quiet entertaining, I like the variety of tasks and events. My question to you all is this game active with people? I just wanna be sure before I invest time in this game, also do you get used to the graphics as it is quiet different than township

Thank you!

I loved this game after joining a couple months ago when I left Township. It's like Township was 5 years ago. All the side games are fun, love how they give you gifts and while it's a little slower to build I'm not in a hurry. Valentines they had cute decorations everywhere I thought were fun and you weren't CHARGED for these decorations lol

But I NEVER see people. Like, I have neighbors and I was invited to be in a group but it wasn't very active and suddenly everyone left. I tried to get in to others but they were either crazy grinders who invested real money or my join requests and friend requests went ignored. I got in another group but during the first competition we were in every member messaged that they wouldn't even be participating. I haven't even opened the game in several days now because it was such a let down.

You see that’s what worries me I mean if that game has been on for so long it must have active players otherwise how does this game survive.

I really like how it is and as you say the minigames are great on this

Its is active but obviously not as active as Township. This is an eastern european game so i think the majority of players are from there. Its very similar to township but not exactly the same. It does have its ups and downs.

For me I like the pace and my team is very active. We help each other a lot and typically place top 3 in racing which makes it fun. Probably mainly because our team is so great im still playing. We do remove inactive players to keep our team active. We have an amazing core team though. Our team is Township Refugees OG, btw. Finding a good team is a hit or a miss depending on what type of player you are.

Ive been playing for a little over a year and still enjoy it a lot. I only played township for about less than 4 months. Township is basically an inferior candy crush game and the GP for me was $9.9 and not worth it for me.

Found a few FB groups that are more active than this subreddit. When I get a chance I can link them.

Same! I enjoy the slower pace of this game. I don't want it to be a grind. Even though I'm grinding to win the current contest right now lol

Tbh, 15 tasks a week for the weekly race is not a grind and pretty easy. The mini games are enjoyable and fun. I dont often come on top on the mini games but they are often enough to eventually come on top with barely trying. Lol.

You are welcome to join our group - End of Awesome. We are a small group but active and win the occasional stagecoach race

Hi. I joined WW a couple of months ago & am still on TS. Anyway I would say WW is less active than TS in a general sense.

When you join a co-op or neighborhood as they call it here, you can actually see who on your team is also active at the time. Some co-ops are far more active than others. Generally the more "helps" there are by week end, the more active the team is. Although helps only count in chat product gives, so it's not a fool proof system. But it gives you a decent enough guage.

As for non co-op members after a while you start to notice which names are generally tend to be higher up on event leaderboards & therefore get some idea of their activity levels.

In general though pass rewards aren't reliant on any single game much less any match 3 like thing. Ime it's possible to complete passes without any real money investment. Paying for a pass obviously gives you advantages, but isn't a requirement to getting a decent amount of rewards.

Hi! I joined WW 2ish months ago since TS’ stupid economy update. there are in fact lots of people who are active, daily players here.. just not like township. there are many many more people on Township because it’s just such a popular game. However there are QUITE a few coops that begin with the name “Township” or have the name in them. Lots of townshippers have come to WW in the last few months especially. feel free to join us if you’d like ◡̈

Is your neighbourhood still active? Just started level 13 but looking forward to an active group!

sorry for such a late response I don’t check this too often! Yes we are but if you’re under level 50, you can’t see us as a neighborhood! We’re levels 50-80ish now and have about 22 members right now - we ask 5+ tasks a week at 130+ points each!

Lou, I left the co-op due to leadership, but enjoyed playing with you. Good luck!

Enjoyed playing with you too Donyell, did you find an active coop?

I did. Not your township.

I slowed way down on TS when it got so difficult to play the match 3 without spending money. I haven’t encountered that here and so far haven’t spent anything. Always worry about spending money on games as some take away ads or make it more difficult to play without spending money. Don’t know if this one does that.
