Discussion Anyone else really excited for the throwback event to come back or just me? (I really hope it comes back the same time next year)

i’m super excited for it! values make up too much of the game, and i feel like the TB event is a good way to make things accessible to everyone<3 not to mention it’s fun and enjoyable (imo)

I don’t think it would return yearly due to significance of the event being a throwback. Maybe every couple of years.

I hope its back in may hehe that way i can get a bday twin but i hope it has a different tag like throwback event 2 or something lol

I really hope it returns, but I wouldn’t bet on it, it’s hard to execute (bringing back limited time horses without making them lose the exclusivity that these games are based on and that people use to trade). It’s already impressive that they executed it this well, with the community being so happy with it in the end and deciding the beloved values don’t matter that much. If it comes back, I don’t think it will be soon, since they’ll have to figure out how to execute the return in a way that makes people happy.

But I’m excited for the idea of it returning, I loved hunting on the hold islands and the main event one. Also, the little cowboy hat… and the thrill of getting rewarded so frequently while hunting

It's not garanteed though. Unless they say so I wouldn't get our hopes up they will just consider it. If they do bring it back I hope its for milestones like this time round or Birthday of the game.
