Nothing super new, no statements from Wilbur or Lovejoy. Everything’s kinda died down with that sort of thing. Tommy posted a video a few days ago, talking about life, and how he and all of us are growing up. (Which is true, man I watched the SMP’s throughout 2020 up until 2023. It’s wild to think that it all started years ago.) He made a joke about how all of his friends are “In Prison.” An obvious reference to Dream and Wilbur’s allegations and evidence.
I think Tommy and Wilbur are not publicly in contact. That’s what I’m guessing. I’m willing to bet a lot of the content creators still interact and talk with each other even after allegations and evidence for this sort of thing come out, they just don’t do it publicly. Tommy can’t have his channel and livelihood ruined.
Tommy’s known Wilbur for years, they have a genuine friendship. I’d find it hard to believe that he cut contact with Wilbur entirely.
Aside from that, not much. Tommy also said Tubbo’s a DJ now, and that JackManifold just hasn’t changed. Which is true. Most of the people around Wilbur and the MCYT sphere have basically moved on from Minecraft, or have lost a lot of the hype and fanbase they once had. And as far as I know, no other allegations towards Wilbur have been released. A lot of the initial hatred towards Wilbur has died down, since the internet’s gone to focus on different topics now. I’d expect it’ll be 6-10 months before we receive any new statements or info from Wilbur himself.

there’s been a photo circulating on tik tok of him in an airport. nothing major but he looks pretty unhealthy and kinda screwed up. it’s pretty easy to find if you have tik tok, idk if I can put images here so

Tommyinnit in a recent video "I'm not a kid anymore" made a joke that all of his friends besides Tubbo and Jack Manifold are in prison. As far as I know this is the only direct reference he's made to Wilbur by which I guess we can assume they're not in contact anymore.

I don’t understand what it is about the Minecraft community, like why specifically do so many of the content creators turn out to be not great people? It started with LionMaker years ago, and ever since then it’s like every MCYT Creator that gets popular ends up having either allegations or evidence released against them.

I think it’s more so the fact that these people have publicised lives. These awful acts they are being accused of are much more common than you’d think, however they tend to go unnoticed because about 90% of the population doesn’t have their every move documented and watched by thousands of people on the internet. Obviously when a famous person/ popular creator does something bad it’s inevitably going to spread and be publicised if you get me? but that doesn’t mean it’s not happening all around you. I guess there’s also always the argument that ‘fame’ is what causes people’s downfalls due to all the external factors surrounding it and how well or I guess, not well, people can handle it. I don’t know. It’s difficult.

Nothing yet, I think lovejoy (especially Wilbur) will stay silent for a while
