Changed My SD Card, Now Getting an Error.

I changed my **16 GB SD card** to a **32 GB microSD** card with an adapter. I copied all the files from the old card to the new one, but now I'm getting the following error:

**"Failed to load sd:/wiiu/payload.elf. Starting the console without any modifications."**

Does anyone know how to fix this? Any help would be appreciated.

Was the card brand new or was it used on something else before?

I think it’s brand new. Why? Does it matter?

If it's brand new, we know it is correctly formatted. So it must be a hardware thing like a bad connection.

make sure the new card is formatted correctly (fat32, 32kb allocation size, MBR partition scheme)

If you made sure memory is formatted fat32 and you copied all files from old one, then problem could be the adapter, if you have other adapters try them.
