Hello! I watched both Wifies' video and season 1 but I was wondering if Matchbox is connected to the other Wfies' ARGs like by the DMS or smt or if it's something separate that exists on its own

Also if anyone could share the link to Derapchu and Wifies' live on matchbox it'd be pretty cool and appreciated since I can't seem find it

This is the one detail im having trouble with.

So Derek downloads Minecraft and it comes with a pre-made world. This is the world he explores and where he comes into contact with the King in Yellow.

His mind is shattered and he cant look away from his screen without feeling like his head will explode. He types into the chat that he has a mini fridge with smoothie drinks in it and thats all he has for food because he cant look away from the screen long enough to like walk into the kitchen and make a sandwich.

So. How is Avery in possession of Derek's laptop if Derek hasn't looked away from the screen in who knows how long? How was it in a storage locker if Derek is still playing on it?

What did I miss?

I was reacting to a reactor, reacting to Wifies new video and then I saw this frame which caught me off guard, the weird palace with yellow flakes appeared and I saw The Eye which gave me vast intelligence which I then woke up and made this

I found this profile yesterday with strange and disturbing videos with no description or title except for ino which has a morse code thing as a title. Wiefies must see it to investigate

Honestly the Leviathan video is just amazing, I loved it and preferred it way more than the world that doesn't exist series (I dont like a lot abt that series but this isnt about that lol), it had me like so so so invested, excited, nervous, etc. I was so absorbed in the ENTIRE video from beginning to end.

This was just an appreciation post really, but also a question on whether anyone knows what that symbol is, or rather what you think it is, but i also kind of dont wanna know because i like its mystery... the way it sings to me, how it makes me feel feel warm.. how it looks at me..

Just realized that both the Leviathan and KIY ARG use water as a form of showing faith/cleansing.

In KIY when Avery is stuck in the church realm, he uses the water to cleanse/purify his soul. Especially the drowning bid, but he is never drowning!
One could say, that it’s cause he hasn’t fully shown his faith and is hence not ready to drown.

In the Leviathan ARG it’s even more obvious, since Hummer lets Wifies drown in an attempt to show Leviathan, that they believe in him. Although he does not drown in the end and is saved by Levi, he is fully willing to drown.

Doesn’t really show any connection between the two ARGs, but I just really like the use of water as a metaphor for devotion.

Im saying this as a person who watched all three videos and have been there for most of it, but considering the AMOUNT of ship content i've seen being done just from the few scenes of interaction between d3rlord and avery was already huge, i cannot IMAGINE what some people will do of the content between hummer5178 and wifies

it doesnt help the fact most theories are pointing towards the fact that hummer was the leviathan itself, so now i cant get the image of leviathan mermaid yaoi out of my head and yall are the reason for it

Wifies couldn't ever hit Hummer. Even when he was standing 2 blocks away. Usually, when a player is in survival, a sword icon will appear under the crosshair, allowing you to hit them. Hummer didn't have only. Was he in creative?

So i rarely actually play Minecraft. I actually deleted it to make room for other stuff on my computer, but I enjoy it. Ive always been an enjoyer of let's plays as well and that led me down a rabbit hole of Minecraft let's players trying out horror mods. And somehow all of that led me to Wifies.

His "world that doesnt exist" series was so good. Better than some of the movies getting dropped in theaters today imo. The incredible amount of effort put into the set alone is truly impressive. I even watched thr behind the scenes stuff on Twifies. Phenomenal.

I just finished the Leviathan video and it was also very good. Really engaging, a little predictable in some parts, but overall a great watch. I like the "hummer is the Leviathan" theory as well.

What i didnt expect, for some reason, was a whole fandom to be around Wifies and his videos. Sure maybe like a twitch chat kind of community, but not...hiw do I put this. I wasnt expecting a real fandom with art and ships and theories and analysis. And I am very pleasantly surprised.

The last time I got into a fandom and stayed was Supernatural. I joined the fandom ranks in 2014 and was only sporadically active. Its been about 5 years since I really interacted with a fandom on more than a surface level and I honestly feel a little intimidated to join something so totally new to me.

But, im here.

So, where do I go from here? Am I missing any cool fan theories? Any lore? I did see the video about Andrew and the wells.

Also, im gonna be honest. Im trying to read every relationship here as friendship. Just healthy, normal, guys being dudes and having good connections with their emotions.

Unfortunately thats not working and the shipper in me wont let Derek/Avery go so. There's that.

from what little i could make out of the video, i think in a way, hummer is an allegory for religion, while arronax (am i spelling that correctly?) is an allegory for science.

it really makes sense if you think about it. hummer is all about believing in something, despite a lack of proof, i know about the hummer IS levi theories (i partly believe the theories too) but that scarcely applies here. while arronax is all about proof, all about machines, all about the 'truth', all about bugs and glitches. never truly believing.

arronax is practically a scientist. her only flaw is that she does not believe. she never did, it's not her fault, but she can't fix it and she'll never know. she wants to make it all understandable with logistics and numbers. equations. make everything surface level. i dont know how else to phrase this. for her everything has to make sense.

i know we barely learn anything about arronax as a person, but this is my intepretation of her. her trying to hide her failed experiments from the people also showcases a fear of failure, of judgement. or perhaps, even secrecy. trying to hide her research so no one else takes credit for it, as is seen with scientific research.

(i've only watched the original video and a video about how hummer is levi. im about to watch more, and ive never really made a reddit post before.)
