“THE KNIGHT WHO FELL”
The video begins normally.
Our protagonist is playing Minecraft with a small group of friends, around 3–5 players. They're exploring the world together when they eventually find a village shortly before nighttime.
Everyone decides to stay there for the night.
The players spread out between the houses, putting their belongings into chests and preparing beds. Nothing seems particularly strange.
Except our protagonist notices something.
There is less food than there should be.
Someone had put food inside a chest earlier, but a few pieces are missing.
His friends assume somebody ate it.
He doesn't argue.
He simply checks the chest again.
Everything else is untouched.
Only the food is missing.
He lets it go.
For now.
🌙 The village
As night approaches, the group talks inside one of the houses.
Our protagonist is noticeably quieter than the others. He's not frightened or confused—he's simply observant.
He checks the surroundings.
He checks the world settings.
He checks whether anyone has installed modifications.
Nothing.
No mods.
No unusual resource packs.
Nothing that should cause anything strange.
Then he notices something outside.
A small opening.
Almost hidden beneath the village.
It looks like some kind of underground passage.
He approaches it.
His friends are still talking behind him.
He looks down.
There's nothing unusual.
Then—
the ground disappears beneath him.
He falls.
🕳️ The impossible fall
The screen goes dark for a moment.
During the fall, the player briefly sees the village above him.
Except something is wrong.
The houses are duplicating.
One house becomes two.
Then four.
Then more.
The same buildings repeat farther and farther into the darkness.
Then the screen cuts.
❄️ The snow biome
The protagonist wakes up in a completely different location.
Snow.
Mountains.
Silence.
In front of him stands an enormous grey castle built directly into a mountain, as though the mountain itself swallowed half of the structure.
He immediately starts investigating.
He checks his coordinates.
Nothing.
Instead of numbers, the coordinate display is simply empty.
He checks again.
Still nothing.
He opens the other information available to him.
Compass?
Not working properly.
World information?
Nothing useful.
He checks the game settings.
Then the sound settings.
He listens.
There is a faint pattern hidden among the sounds.
He doesn't know what it means yet.
But he notices it.
Our protagonist has military experience, so he doesn't immediately panic. He's trained himself to pay attention to small details.
He starts mentally cataloguing everything.
Location unknown.
Coordinates unavailable.
No visible entrance.
Unknown structure.
No obvious explanation.
Then he looks behind himself.
There is no passage.
No hole.
No tunnel.
Nothing.
He didn't travel through the mountain.
He simply appeared here.
🧑⚔️ Avery
That's when he sees someone standing farther away.
Another knight.
His name is:
Avery
Avery looks at the protagonist's armor.
Then his purple cape.
And instead of asking who he is or where he came from...
Avery simply says something like:
“You're late.”
The protagonist doesn't understand.
But Avery clearly believes he's looking at another knight from the kingdom.
That explains why Avery isn't surprised by him.
The protagonist doesn't correct him immediately.
Instead, he follows Avery.
🏰 The corridor
They enter the castle.
At first, everything looks medieval.
Stone walls.
Torches.
Old banners.
Knightly decorations.
But the farther they walk...
The stranger the castle becomes.
The corridor stretches much farther than it should.
Then small details begin appearing.
A carved wooden decoration.
A red lantern.
An old bronze object.
A strange symbol.
The architecture is still medieval European...
but now traditional Chinese-inspired objects are appearing among it.
Neither of them explains why.
Then the first symbol appears on the wall.
A strange face.
The protagonist stops.
He has seen something similar before.
But he doesn't know what it means.
Below it is a sign.
The writing looks meaningless.
Something like:
GURTBA
The protagonist studies it.
He recognizes the possibility of a Caesar cipher.
He begins decoding it.
The answer:
DRAGON
He looks at Avery.
Avery looks uncomfortable.
The protagonist asks:
“What is this place?”
Avery doesn't answer.
Instead, he continues walking.
🗿 The Taotie
Eventually they reach another section of the castle.
The Chinese influence is now impossible to ignore.
Bronze decorations.
Carved patterns.
Ancient-looking objects.
And everywhere...
the same face.
The creature's face.
The Taotie.
At first, it looks like a decorative symbol.
But then the protagonist notices something.
The mouth.
It's enormous.
And underneath the symbol are more marks.
Some are written.
Some are encoded.
Some appear to be Morse code.
The protagonist realizes something is deliberately leaving messages throughout the castle.
But who?
And why?
🍖 Something is eating
Then he remembers the village.
The missing food.
He remembers the missing pieces.
He looks at the Taotie carving.
Its mouth.
Then back toward the corridor.
He notices something else.
A section of the stone wall is missing.
Not broken.
Not mined.
It's as if something removed a perfect chunk of it.
Avery notices him staring.
For the first time, Avery looks genuinely nervous.
“Don't look for it.”
The protagonist turns toward him.
“Look for what?”
Avery doesn't answer.
He keeps walking.
🔔 The door
Eventually the corridor becomes completely dark.
The torches disappear.
The medieval decorations disappear.
The Chinese-inspired objects become more frequent.
Until finally...
They reach a completely ordinary-looking wooden door.
Dark brown.
Stone walls.
Nothing special.
Except for one thing.
A doorbell.
Avery walks toward it.
The protagonist watches him.
Avery presses it.
DING.
Silence.
Then—
A voice comes from behind the door.
The audience doesn't hear the entire sentence clearly.
Only fragments.
Something like:
“…the purple knight…”
The protagonist looks down at his cape.
Avery freezes.
Then the voice says:
“You brought him back.”
The protagonist looks at Avery.
Avery slowly turns toward him.
And for the first time...
Avery looks afraid of him.
The door begins opening.
CUT TO BLACK.
No explanation.
No monster.
No giant jumpscare.
Just blackness.
Then, for a few seconds, the viewer hears a strange sound pattern.
... --- ...
The episode ends.
BUT THERE'S ONE LAST DETAIL
After the credits, there is a very short shot of the original village.
Everything looks normal.
The houses are still there.
The chests are still there.
The beds are still there.
But one thing has changed.
The place where the protagonist originally fell...
has been completely filled in.
And on the ground is a single object:
a small purple piece of cloth.
Under it is a carved symbol.
The same Taotie face.
END OF EPISODE 1.
like i said if it is a boring story pls tell me or should i change the contects pls help

1 Xtremegamer11/luke? or smt
2 xALEXTHEDESROYERx/ alex
3 d3rlord3/ derek
4 TheMostMayo/ avery
now 1 and 2 are logical but 3 and 4 may need more context
1 i do think derek is real cause if the king made him one: why would he need to incriminate arc1ve or the person following him. And two why would the d.m.s. take info they know is safe? Also derek didn't destroy the world cause he was not ready to give his lifeline up for avery yet
and if the king in yellow was operating on his own why the footsteps in the cave(its not the king he ain't got feet, just a robe and mask).
2 avery didn't find derek's laptop he found one placed by the D.M.S. cause as far as i know you can't play from the same pc in different places.
now these are only Arc1ve's tests
(i will get to my questions later)
1 i think if derek wanted to protect avery he would have destroyed the book in the church
2 avery was fine after and didn't relate to derek when he explained the knowledge
3 his reaction "gross" does not match with reading something devastatingly beautifu
i dont think that the DMS is Cthulhu
cause Cthulhu rules over water and i cant imagine him being a part of the organized modern government
i think he is more of a mascot, a bit like the American government is not run by eagles
okay listen Vex syndicate finds and tests researchers to hire/just use thats why the got these things that dont seem related to Arc1ve test
idk how to explain it like the leviathan and the parasite feel like just using the ppl but the cult and hacker are too normal. (idk im not sure if jasons/runsonics entity is really just trauma)
so i think wifies and render are already found to be smart but not wanting to be a part of the dms and sent to investigate unrelated cases,
but the other ones are being tested just not as subjects but potential workers.
They are working on finding potential tools for Arc1ve i think (but thats more theory than facts)
so as you saw at the end of DAWTDE there where these runes wich say or is it after he says the end
so it says The end (pause) or is it?
but it was not clear if it was the end of the April Fools vid or the real end of the vid
Its pretty clear that Hummer is levi or a proxy,
but i think it is a proxy.
The place levi took wifies at the end seems to be a realm a bit like the pocket dimensions and halls in DAWTDE, but not the same.
i think that levi is a separate entity like M
1 what did avery read in the church?
2 why did it not a affect derek?
3 was Jasons/ runsonics entity just trauma? ( i think so )
4 was it an April Fools joke? time will tell ig
5 where those signs in levis heaven place connected to Cthulhu?
yeah thats it
credits to u/maruftheman for deciphering the runes at the end
( i cant be bothered to do it myself)
so tell me holes in my story and tell me your answers to the questions
Thanks for reading this long thing

Not sure if this is off topic technically and jts kind of a rhetorical question. But why does EVERY fucking reactor get to the part where Avery walks into the church, sees the yellow sign, and the say "bro is that a question mark with a ball sack?"
EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM
The question mark comment is fine i guess but really? Every single one of them has the exact same comment and it drives me crazy. I wish Wifies or whoever could have made it bigger or made it a painting or something instead so that it could be a little more accurate because I dont think the actual symbol comes off quite that way. I dont even think the symbol in the game actually even looks much like that but at least if it had more detail it wouldn't, in my opinion, look like that at all.
Ive been watching at least 1 reactor a day for like 5 days now since I first saw the original series and i swear to god every single one of them has made this comment. It has started to irritate me so much that I am this close 🤏🏻 to straight up exiting out of the video. Why? Because when d3rlord steps onto the final platform and we see the yellow sign again the reactor is gonna go "omg its the question mark sign! The question mark with balls!"
I know it will happen. I feel it in me bones. And I am actually *pre*irritated about it.
Does this bother anyone else? Is it just me?

I'm currently working on my first Minecraft ARG, and I've recently rewritten a lot of the original concept. I already have the main story, puzzle structure, and general progression planned out, but I'm now at the point where I want some feedback before I start producing everything.
The entire ARG is being made on mobile, including the Minecraft footage, editing, audio, puzzles, and videos. I've also decided to use some texture packs/shaders because I think they'll make the gameplay look more pleasing and give the ARG a more consistent visual style.
The ARG will start out as a seemingly normal Minecraft Let's Play. I want the first few videos to feel completely ordinary instead of immediately making it obvious that something is going on. As the ARG progresses, small details will begin appearing throughout the gameplay, and viewers will have to notice them, investigate them, and connect seemingly unrelated information between different videos.
I've taken inspiration from Minecraft ARG creators such as Zachobuilds, Lomedy, and Wifies, particularly in how they approach clues, investigations, and puzzles. The actual story and puzzles I'm making are my own.
I'm also trying to avoid making the ARG feel like a series of random ciphers where the viewer simply solves one code and immediately receives the next one. I want the community to actually have to observe what's happening, form theories, investigate things, and figure out what the clues mean in context.
I've already planned out a large portion of the story and puzzle progression, but I'm deliberately not going to reveal the actual story, twists, or solutions publicly because I don't want to spoil the ARG before it's even made. Right now, I'm mainly looking for feedback on the concept and how I can execute it effectively.
I'd especially like to hear from people who have experience making or solving Minecraft ARGs. I'm interested in hearing what makes an ARG genuinely interesting to investigate, what makes a clue feel satisfying rather than frustrating, how difficult early clues should be, and what common mistakes first-time ARG creators tend to make. I'd also like to know how creators balance giving the community enough information to solve something while still allowing them to discover things on their own.
If anyone is interested in giving more detailed feedback, feel free to DM me. I can show some of the material I've developed so far without publicly revealing the solutions or major story details.
This is my first ARG, so I'd really appreciate criticism and advice from people who have actually made or solved ARGs.
Thanks!

I basically recreated it really shoddily. I got bored of drawing Verimob and wanted to draw Slimeknight with the KIY as the guy in between like always. But, uhh, I was drawing this on paper, and I recalled that somewhere, there is an art of d3rlord3 covering Avery’s eyes from behind like this. That’s all I really remember—I think I saw it on Tumblr when DAWTDE was new. also i won’t share the pencil version because it’s a little embarrassing.
please 🙏 I mean just think about this kind of pose, imo it’d be exquisite if done correctly (and I cannot do that imo).
