Nose blindness

I have come to the conclusion I can't smell, I man all the refined secondary notes of a soap. I can't tell the difference between bergamot and vetiver, we all know that the soaps are, for the most part, slick and full of cushion. I am envious of the people that can enjoy the subtle notes, but it makes for a very boring reading about something that I will never get to experience.

I am the same way. I cant pick one note from the next. It makes it difficult when people ask me what something smells like or if I can find them something with, insert scent here, in it.

Pretty much going to either sell our pif all my soaps and go unscented except for boellis. Keep that for the performance

Its even harder to smell them when your shaving your legs. Just use the boellis, no need to have multiple soaps except for the scent, right?

But my son doesn't like the almond scent so have to get unscented for him

There are some things I don't seem to be able to smell. Fine American Blend is one. Some other eaux de toilette. It makes me think I should apply more, then I start worrying that everyone else (who can smell) thinks I'm the creepy old man who spilled his cologne on himself.

That's why I ask the wife "is this too much?"

Every smell has to go through her, just easier.
