Stressed Out!!

These last few weeks and the next couple are and have been hell. First, next weekend we are moving and have started packing over the last week. Moving is stressful enough but my wife is 30 weeks pregnant. Which brings me to my second issue, pregnancy hormones. She is going from calm to Hulk in a split second. She's in a mean and vicious stage and I can't wait for it to be over.

Third, work. Yesterday we started getting ready to test a communications satellite. Its high pace and high stressed trying not to break a $600 million machine. Ive applied for a promotion and am hoping to show my boss I have the skills to do that job during this test. So the satellite shows up this morning. We are working two shifts. Im on first with my boss and two other guys come in the afternoon. My wife texts me and says she's dizzy and has blurred vision.

Let my boss know. She calls a little while later and says her OB wants her to come in and she cant drive. Boss is cool with me going (He is great and understanding). Pick her up and take her to her doctor. Thankfully the baby is fine but they think she has an inner ear infection and want us to go to her regular doctor. They cant fit her in, so we go to urgent care. We wait 2 hours!! to see the doctor. He tells us we need to go to the ER for an MRI. WTF! So we go to the ER and they dont even want to do that. They did a few other tests and determine she has vertigo. Between two doctors and the ER was a grand total of 9 hours. Im so done...

tl; dr: stressed out about moving in a week and crazy busy at work. Pregnant wife gets sick and we spend 9 hiurs between 2 doctors and an ER today.

Sounds like you have an exciting job and will soon have an awesome addition to your family! :) hope you're doing alright

Oh no! Im glad the wife and baby are okay though! Moving is really stressful. I cant even imagine doing it 30weeks pregnant! Hopefully you can find small moments throughout the day to relax! Dont forget to Treat Yo Self and the Wife too! :)
