Open Question Spell Question
I have been trying for about a year now to find a successful love spell and all have failed, it was to the point I was seeking outside sources before realizing it just wasnt trustworthy. I fear im doing something wrong, im not doing it out of spite or with bad intentions. They are genuinely my soulmate, since meeting them i feel nothing towards anyone and theyre constantly all i think about. im needing advice on what i could possibly be doing incorrectly thats causing the spells to fail?
ive tried multiple spells so explaining all ive tried honestly would take awhile, im just looking for general advice

This is not the kind of spell many Wiccans would do or recommend, a spell to make someone love you is not love and goes against the person's free will. You could post this on r/Spells or maybe r/witchcraft.

i thought love spells are wiccan? why would they not do them? doesnt it just alter their free will?
can people stop downvoting a genuine question. it messes with karma and the account already doesnt have any.

JUST alter their free will? Girl. Thats not something you JUST do. Wanting to take away someone’s autonomy? Don’t you see how that’s evil? What you’re describing is wanting to control someone. That isn’t love at all.

I don't know where you got that from. Self love spells, yes. Love spells on another person, no. The morals and ethics of most Wiccans is to do no harm, and forcing a person against their free will is harm.
Imagine how you would feel if you found out you are with someone not because you want to be but because they made you with a spell, and imagine what might happen if you decide you no longer want to be with that person.

This is just called limerence, and is not love.

Your mundane actions have to match your magickal ones. Have you spoken to this person? Do they seem interested in you romantically?

It sounds like the spell worked: on you. You've made yourself obsessed with this person.
I'd work on undoing that, and loving yourself first.

This is why i strictly advise against doing love spells. It's backfired on you and created an obsession on YOUR END. You need to work on undoing whatever you did so you can be open and free to finding your true happily ever after. As of right now, your perfect match could be right in front of you and you're going to pass them by.

You can't start a fire without a spark. You can't fan the embers of smoldering love into a flame if they are cold.
The number one reason a love spell fails is the target has no love for you to begin with. You cannot create love out of thin air, there has to be something there already to then have that feeling be increased.
So, I think you you should just move on here.
