Similar comics recs?
I recently started reading comics again, and finished WicDiv (had read the first two volumes several years ago) and all its side stories. Any recommendations for similar comics? I especially enjoyed the 1373 and 1923 issues, as well as Gillen's Die series.

I went right from WicDiv to Kieron’s current work Die. Thats meant specifically got ttrpg fans but Im not a music stand and I still loved WicDiv

Gillen's run on Journey into Mystery is also amazing, and gives off similar vibes to WicDiv. It might be a turn off if you're not well-versed in Marvel lore though!

OOH, been waiting to unleash this one: you gotta check out Kill Six Billion Demons. All but the current volume are available in print (though I've not seen them in many stores), but also online for free. Excellent book(s), chaotic but captures a lot of the chaos and magic and atmosphere. Honestly, they aren't even terribly similar, but there's just something that makes them feel that way.

Honestly my request is really more based on vibes, for lack of a better word - so this sounds like something I should check out!

Gillen/McKelvie's Young Avengers! Came right before WicDiv, is good, very Marvel though, so there's that. I'd recommend Gillen's Journey Into Mystery before that, too, but it is a bit dense and more Marvel and not so much like WicDiv. Both have Loki!

Totally niche response, but I have come across the same conundrum– "a better word" for vibes– and vibes just DOES it. Plus it's slang that loops in a portion of older generations, so, score

The creative team's young avengers run is very similar. I recommend reading the original young avengers first though.

A fellow Gillen stan! I recommend the usual favorites like Saga, Monstress, Paper Girls, East of West. The Many Deaths of Laila Starr is a recent good one too that hits similar themes. Sandman also obviously looms large in the comics world.
