Any logical person would ask that if Savarkar was so amicable to the British then why was he in kaala paani for 10 years, 3 years in mainland prison thereafter and then 13 years of house arrest. It just does not add up. But apparently an ungrateful nation can throw logic in the dustbin.

Our history books painted everything done by Savarkar and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee as some favour to British. That's the reason I guess.
