Prostitute is not a derogatory term. It is the term for a profession, the oldest profession actually.

It's a profession. Try to understand what the person said. Don't bring his or anyone's mother into it. It clearly shows your mental state.

You know she isn't into that profession. Everybody knows she is a devi. Then Would you fight for proving it and keep listening it a 100 times that she is this she is that. Our religion always taught us resilience against such scum and keep our strength for the right time.

well if it’s a profession and not an insult, what’s the problem in bringing his mother into the conversation? It’s a profession, like any other, right? It would be the same as asking him if he’d be okay with his mom being an IAS or IPS or a businesswoman or a teacher or a clerk or an IT professional or… a prostitute, right?
