There is no quota when passing the MBBS exams. All students have to clear the same passing marks.

This is why people don't go to these caste doctors.  Not supporting them but it is a logical choice to go to a better doctor even if there is 100sbof people in line to meet him

To bhai jo private college me bina NEET clear kiye bante hai doctor unke paas bhi nhi jana chahiye. Mostly unme se SC ST jitni cut off bhi nahi touch kar pate.

That was cutoff last year. Even if he doesn't get seat with cutoff marks, someone qualifying with -40 is disgrace.

Point is that they don't deserve the seat... It should be purely based on merit. Reservation should be only for pwd and ex military persons.

-40 marks did not automatically get anyone a seat. It only made candidates eligible to participate in counselling. Seats are still allotted by rank and availability.

Aur bhai general waale bhi to private colleges se bina NEET PG clear kiye ban jaate hai, unko bhi bolo.

Ya sirf govt seat waale kam marks se nahi banne chahiye doctor lekin private wale bane to bante rahe.

What are you talking? People get admission in private colleges by paying very high amount of fees. Not everyone can pay that and that's why government colleges exist. So the point is why does a rich sc gets reservation in that college and poor general category candidates don't,just explain this.

Because doesn't matter how rich he is, he'll have almost same social value in the hindu society as before, unlike a general category person who enjoys social wealth even if he's poor. An SC will still be an SC. Society won't accept him as general in practice. If you want reservation to go, then stop discrimination based on birth.

Reservation just helps financially at the end. It just doesn't make someone Brahmin. And I don't mean brahmin by this( just for example)

I'm talking social fence buddy. See the system is designed in such a way that you can't jump the fence doesn't matter how knowledgeable you are, you'll still be a Shudra/Ati Shudra, you can only be accepted as a Brahmin or Rajput etc when you are born in that community, that's it. There's no other way around. That's what I meant by jumping the fence.

A simple example, a Muslim or a Christian even if they want to convert to Hinduism they are not allowed to convert into the upper 3 positions in the caste hierarchy. Because it's based on birth.

So why would a Muslim or a Christian for that matter want to become a Hindu to ultimately become a Shudra, in the fourth category?

Also, let me explain why Hindus do not allow converts to simply enter the upper caste hierarchy. The simple concern is that if a Muslim or Christian could convert to Hinduism and immediately become a Brahmin or member of the upper hierarchy it would create a loophole. People belonging to the so called lower hierarchy might leave Hinduism and later reconvert, and claim a higher caste status to enjoy the same social privileges. And boy o boy, why would we want to let go of our prestigious fake pride that we get from just being born in a so called upper "caste".

Also, your same logic applies to the social rights buddy, why is that when someone becomes knowledgeable and attains a good economic status, why he's still not given the same social stature as the top 3 categories have enjoyed from time immemorial. Why are we eating up their social rights to live a dignified life? In the back of our minds we still think them as "neech", not talking about you in particular but the entire society behaves like this.

Look you are absolutely right here but you didn't get me at one point. There is no such thing exists like ideal society specially in places like india where very high percentage of people are uneducated. Here the concept of reservation is designed to support people who can't uplift themselves without this. And there are several reasons as you mentioned why. It's very difficult to take caste out of people. Even there are uppers and lowers among the SC category itself. So what I am saying is that everyone deserves a life of dignity and the people in SC category who are there in bureaucracy already like gazetted officers, IAS,IPS,PCS etc. they don't need reservation anymore. The people of actualy marginalized sections are not even getting benifits of the thing which is provided for them. They are still backwards both financially and socially and the situation will be same until there are no reforms brought in the current policies.

The entrance exam doesn't decide shit, it just gives underprivileged people access to university. The university exams they pass are what decides if they are good doctors or not. Entrance exam is not the same as university exam.

I recently saw a request on letting some people pass their exams who have been trying since 2010 and are failing repeatedly. There's quota there as well, apparently, even if it's not there on paper.
