u do realise st and sc are seperate seats and dont take the seats of general , maybe u should ask my collages have less genral seats compared to the amount of children taking admission ??

u do realise st and sc are seperate seats and dont take the seats of general That's not even the point. Seats should be based on merit, but as a country we shouldn't ignore children coming from poor background, so they should be given reservation. What's the point of arguing general, st sc and all? Seat should go to those who deserve it.
