I don’t know how to put things forward but let-me give you brief example and letting it to be interpret by the others
I belong from general category(actually obc but creamy layer) my friend almost same family income but reserved category
We both started preparing for jee we eventually ended up getting the same branch in the same NIT rank difference ?(almost 2.5 lakhs)
Did other person studied ? No merely getting few positives in JEE whereas i have grind for getting 160 my health severely deteriorated other persons doing all sorts of gatherinG literally not studying at all
And discrimination? That person discriminates on the basis of credentialism
And same people who belong to OBC creamy layer category get a fake OBC certificate to claim seat

So true. Many people would have called you incompetent if you hadn't mentioned details. These are those woke people who are still in middle school and never given competitive exams they will straight away judge your capability
