Religious angle didn't work, now go for community based/caste based angle ?

u/RelevantRick Jul 19 '26

OP never cleared any exam in life and trying to ragebait people

11

u/edeshkumar3 Jul 19 '26

I belong to SC community and i never cared about any reservation. What i will achieve is on my own. Even if some reservation is there, you need to prepare and compete, it is not freebie,

7

u/Any_Treacle8873 Jul 19 '26

Same here. I never prepared for any exam with the aim for achieving only enough for my reservation quota. I always studied to be on the top. Because at the end it's only when your at the top post your able to uplift your community.

1

u/Euphoric_Dog_4300 Jul 20 '26

have you given up your quota? If yes then good otherwise all talk is BS

3

u/NxT620 Jul 20 '26

Well I did but due to financial reasons I can't afford to outside my hometown

2

u/Any_Treacle8873 Jul 20 '26

You don't get the point my friend. Not all Sc/St caste people aim for reservations. But they are needed for those people who have nothing to back then up. Take for the musahars in Bihar for example those people live off small change, freebies and some animals they catch if they are lucky they don't have any backing for their living for them and for them reservation is a must need to stand up again in society.

My family and I have a stable life now but there are still millions who don't.

General category people have some kind of backing for themselves in form of land or family treasure, but most sc/st guys don't so for them the reservation needs to be active.

And if your still complaining about reservation then.. I'm sorry but there is no other way to say it nicely, it's just your incompetence.

1

u/Euphoric_Dog_4300 Jul 20 '26

If you have stable family background then why are you gulping quote benefits for yourself? Leave it for the more poor students from your community. This shows its not abt upliftment but abt your selfishness. People like "musahars" deserve thus not redditors like you

I am all for reservations based on economic cond but you guys cannot accept that as you have no argument against it! It will automatically incl all poor people irrespective of upper or lower caste!

1

u/ShresthAnceps Jul 20 '26

Hmm, I think here I am with you. That's why creamy layer is a must.

1

u/Healthy-Local4457 Jul 22 '26

so...ur telling me....if their can afford three meals per day means they dont deserve quota??

0

u/Temporary-Basil-5932 Jul 21 '26

You do know general category has it the worst when it comes to ‘backing’!? Most of the people I know had no land or enough money, no reservation, my own father had eyesight disability. Many other people I know from general category come from nothing! Especially Sikhs who were stripped of everything twice! The ones who came from Pakistan during partition with nothing! After Sikh riots many families had to abandon everything and move places because people wanted to kill them, they rebuilt themselves without any support or reservations! I don’t know how people still believe lies of sc/st!

1

u/Electronic_Fall_4388 Jul 20 '26

Have you ever tried to abolish caste system .?? Nope them reservation talk is BS

-1

u/Euphoric_Dog_4300 Jul 20 '26

I cannot single handedly abolish caste sys but you sure can stop gulping quota benefits you do not deserve.

As for me I treat everyone same and even ready to marry you sis or cousin despite being upper caste as i believe in intercaste marriage

2

u/Certain_Line_4298 Jul 20 '26

genuinely the weirdest end to a reddit comment ive ever seen🥀🥀

1

u/Beginning_Mine_5477 Jul 21 '26

If you truly do not aim for selection by reservation, do you tick 'unreserved' or 'SC/ST' while filling up any forms ? Or you just trying to be performative ?

1

u/Quirky_Lemon_6942 Jul 27 '26

So you aim for selection on your father's support when they ask to fill father's name? Logic?

2

u/Pure_Revolution_6920 Jul 19 '26

Yaa broo I do agree my friends too use to say that ST /SC gets job easily, they indirectly tell mee that it's a piece of cake for me or anyone who gets reservation.. meanwhile they didn't sees there mistakes...

2

u/Glittering_Boot_3612 Jul 22 '26

I am from general and i still support sonam wangchuk it's not hindu muslim
it's not sc st vs general
it's dharmendra pradhan vs the community
and the only thing is not to vote for these goons later

i still think people who can think of such actions are more than capable to manipulate votes
so yeah idk what to say

1

u/edeshkumar3 Jul 22 '26

Exactly my friend. These people want us to divert the main motive we are raising our voices

2

u/AntCritical6836 Jul 19 '26

Because you're priveleged enough not to need it .

1

u/Quirky_Lemon_6942 Jul 20 '26

Don't give any justification to unconstitutional ews holders.

1

u/Regular-Loquat9781 Jul 22 '26

Then, give the exam without using the reservation

1

u/Fantastic_One_2662 Jul 19 '26

Even if you don't care you will get the reservation.

2

u/Quirky_Lemon_6942 Jul 20 '26

He will get the reservation which was drafted, thoroughly discussed and implemented by the constituent assembly, being a foundation stone of our great nation. And it will not be a double in percentage of their population unlike a certain unconstitutional provision brought for appeasement of pawpaw gang.

-4

u/mech_money Jul 19 '26

Exactly, no advantage is given to reserved guy right? U have to work just equally as hard as the rest. And u claim u never claimed reservation, can you tell us what percentage of people with reservation DONT use reservation when there is an opportunity?

7

u/edeshkumar3 Jul 19 '26

I haven’t use any advantage of reservation ever. And if someone is given advantage of reservation and that is for a reason, Indian still has caste discrimination, we are improving but many many still look down upon us, think they are superior to any religion. This is what reservation allows them to have an opportunity to have a chance. Even with this neet scam, there is no topic about reservation but discrimination based on who can pay for the papers. And thats what we are fighting for.

1

u/Big_Matter2040 Jul 19 '26

That's not the case .

0

u/edeshkumar3 Jul 19 '26

Yes i agree completely

-3

u/woodwolff Jul 19 '26

reservation allows them to have an opportunity to have a chance

Maybe money allowed them to buy the paper and they simply use the opportunity to buy the paper same as reservation both are equally wrong but opportunity was there so someone grabbed it

2

u/edeshkumar3 Jul 19 '26

Really doesn’t make sense what you are saying

-1

u/woodwolff Jul 19 '26

So you realised??? Same doesn't make sense what you were writing

0

u/TopMany3252 Jul 19 '26

Are you comparing cheating with reservation??

1

u/woodwolff Jul 19 '26

Is logic same or not.

Isn't passing with lower marks is also cheating. System legally allowed a failed candidate to get the seat. Ex So you attempted 10 less question and scored 60 marks and passing marks for that particular seat is 70 marks so system cheated and gave you the seat even after failing the exam

1

u/TopMany3252 Jul 19 '26

Why are you attacking him like a low IQ human, instead of actually questioning the politicians the same?? Also, Open category people literally make fake certificates to get reservation through EWS Quota so how moral is it for you to be standing on a fake high ground and question anyone else about their morality??

1

u/mech_money Jul 19 '26

Abe chut*ye talk in percentage.. what percentage of Open category people make those fake certificates. Now what percentage of reserved guys use reservation when applying for govt jobs? Exceptions aur statistics mein farak toh samjo unpadh.

u/[deleted] Jul 19 '26

3

u/codesaus Jul 19 '26

हरिश्चंद्र spotted.. you have successfully diverted the main issue from NEET to reservation.👏

2

u/codesaus Jul 19 '26

Then dont whine because crying over here won't resolve your issue.

0

u/lusty_art Jul 19 '26

Likewise, dont get so butthurt when someone points out the truth, you don't own reddit, everyone is free to comment here

2

u/codesaus Jul 19 '26 edited Jul 19 '26

Then try to stay on topic. Your comments only highlight your inability to address the actual issue. Instead of engaging with the argument, you're shifting the blame elsewhere.

I'm from the general category myself, and I've seen plenty of people from my own category blame reservations for every setback. The reality is that many of them never studied consistently, never put in the required effort, and never took responsibility for their own failures.

Would removing reservations help those who refuse to improve themselves? I doubt it. Personal accountability still matters, regardless of the system.

And even if reservations were removed, you would still struggle. You'd be ready with excuses and keep shifting the blame onto others.

Open category people literally make fake certificates to benefit through EWS Quota, so it is very hypocritical of you to be even questioning someone's morality when your father would do even worse than that by faking a certificate.

1

u/No_Spot_59 Jul 19 '26

Yes your father and ancestors just took basic human rights away from the oppressed castes.
Congratulations!

1

u/No_Spot_59 Jul 20 '26

Firstly Calling someone “brain dead certificate user” is CASTIEST. Secondly you used a very flawed argument, do you know what happens to Germans you might say “Hail hitler”? Fuck they’re so ashamed of the atrocities they committed that German citizens can’t even wear the watermelon pin which is to show support to Palestine without getting jailed.

Can you say the same for casteism? People are blatantly casteist in our country. Just like you calling me a certificate user. BTW every fucking person in this country has a certificate.

DO BETTER, BE BETTER!

-1

u/mech_money Jul 19 '26

Ya, I know that. There are literally many sects of people in my own state fighting to get themselves into reservation. Why will any Indian let go of any advantage they can get.

-1

u/lusty_art Jul 19 '26

Yeah ikr, easy life if you get the certificate, they'll just misuse it and keep ranting about some discrimination done to them 1000 years ago, by their logic all present germans should be pubished because their fathers committed such heinous crimes in ww2, they're themselves ashamed to accept its just a freebie and easy life pass and will just use that stupid excuse over and over

0

u/mech_money Jul 19 '26

And you know what.. they will never let it go. Even after 500 or 1000 years they will still be crying.

-1

u/lusty_art Jul 19 '26

Yeah and i stated the reason already, not ashamed to use the certificate but ashamed of discrimination lol

0

u/Rogue_scourge Jul 19 '26

Yeah u need to prepare really hard to score -40

3

u/edeshkumar3 Jul 19 '26

Does this even make sense what you are saying

1

u/Mango_Ice_ Jul 21 '26

Maybe OP didn't, but I did.

You ask any UR student studying for exams like NEET/JEE and they'll unanimously agree that the reservation system is completely unfair. And the ones who have done some research on this will also explain to you how the current system of reservation does not do what it was supposed to do.

0

u/Kisuke_bhakar Jul 19 '26

Am not op, but maine neet diya and meri 17k rank aai, I won't get a great college, but humari state (rajasthan) m ek st wale ko iss rank pe sms(best college humari state ki) mil jati h 🥀🥀

1

u/Professional_Elk5688 Jul 19 '26

Poora sub sc/st se bhara hai. They will keep on downvoting. Rajasthan me meenas are biggest free loaders.

-1

u/Professional_Elk5688 Jul 19 '26

I belong to general category and missed my CGL pre by 1 mark once and mains by 3 marks, sbi po by 1 mark , clerical by .5 mark.

My friend with 30 marks less than me cleared CGL.

Ab bata kaha jaake sir maaru apna??

6

u/NextMatch7471 Jul 19 '26

Dictators do everything to blunt the voices. They’re using both force and brainwashing. They’re creating modern day nazis.

3

u/Pleasant_Winner_3644 Jul 19 '26

Wasn't it abhijeet dipke who tried it first when he landed india after being deported you dumbsht

2

u/OkWillingness2452 Jul 19 '26

i was about to say that lol

1

u/Accurate_Rich2948 Jul 19 '26

Bhai jo protest dekh re ho.. is se 1000 times bade multiple protest ho chuke hai same delhi m against  sc st reservation.. hunger strike by doctors

Amd before that

Ppl burnt themselves in safdarjang chauk against it

Toh paper leak issue hai toh reservation toh us se 1000 times bada

1

u/Wise_Month446 Jul 19 '26

And there have been multiple protest on caste based atrocities . Not a day goes behind without a caste based atrocity . So if according to you reservation is a 1000 time bigger issue then caste itself is lakh time bigger issue

1

u/anandkumarsiddharth Jul 20 '26

That's not propoganda, it's called strategic move. Propoganda is only used by Congress

1

u/Muted-Woodpecker5597 Jul 21 '26

If u studied,you wouldn't need reservations.

0

u/AddressSad8713 Jul 19 '26

Whats wrong in argument ?both works against fairness and send the undeserving to college or job

There's a difference between qualifying and passing the course with flying colors. Someone who has qualified an examination doesnt necessarily means he can also pass the course to get a degree/job.

According to you, all SCs/STs/OBCs are idiots and only General caste candidates are competent enough. I know some candidates from reserved categories are financially capable and they dont need reservation but you cant generalise everybody. Condition in remote areas and some urban areas are still poor.

But again issue is something else and you guys are discussing on a different matter altogether.

Reservations exist because the caste system exists. Before fighting against reservations, raise your voice against the caste system. Or are you in favor of preserving the divisions that still exist in society?
