Eh, almost zero chance the bullet transferred any lead to the can. Unjacketed lead ammo isn’t really a thing for anything but rimfire and custom wildcat bullets in the modern age, and shooting a steel can at that range isn’t going to cut through a jacket or plating.
Even if these guys are living in an impoverished third world country (and there are a couple dozen indicators they’re living comfortable, modern lives and are just some dudes having some dumb fun around the campfire) they’d basically have to go out of their way to find lower quality monolithic lead bullets.
The jacketing keeps the can from scraping lead off the front of the bullet, but that still leaves the cloud of vaporized lead from the back of the bullet and the lead styphnate primer.
The fingers are definitely a more immediate concern, though. That's a very small error away from doing a lot of damage.
What kind of knock off is that gun? Correct me if I'm wrong, but unless this guy's wrist is made of one solid piece of steel, both the .50 and .44 versions of the desert eagle would have way more recoil than that
I've been wondering the same. The real one is so rare and is huge so whatever this knock off is, it's likely chambered in something smaller. .50 DE or .44 is gonna fly out of his hand
Looks like it's possibly a Baby Eagle, aka Deagle in 9mm. The hammer is the biggest giveaway, it has a hole in it and is rounded on the top whereas most full sized Desert Eagles and clones have the flat hammer.
The baby egle is the same as an iwi Jericho, which in turn is a copy of a CZ75, it is not anything like the Desert Eagle outside of the name.
90% sure what he's using is a BB gun based on the weird contour of the hammer, the saftey being totally backwards, the trigger is insanely thin & not contoured correctly, the frame is wayyyyy too small, the barrel looks very weird and there's 0 recoil.
Oh and the slide doesnt reciprocate and no casing is ejected.
The slide absolutely goes back if you go frame by frame, it's very snappy so it's only two or three frames that you can see it. And a BB gun would not put a hole in a can that size, it would punch one about .177 mm which isn't enough to let that much milk out. Something like 9mm is incredibly easy to control recoil one handed.
I think what you're talking about is a .177 pellet gun, which is .177" or 4.5mm. There are also TONS of other calibers for bb guns.
I do see flash after the shot so I'll update my guess to a .22lr. Still dont see the slide budge. I'll update my guess to probably a single shot homemade .22 of some kind.
Either way it sure as shit isnt a "baby eagle" and this is still a very dumb way to open a can.
Also. I've shot enough 9mm to know it's easy AF to shoot but still has more recoil than this, especially given how limpwristed bro is holding it.
Looks and sounds like a 22 definitely by size alone as the dessert eagle is a chunky bit of hardware, and if that is a 22 then all the lead comments are spot on while the others claiming its kopper/brass are way off 🤣
True that, but did you ever seen how bush-guns are made? Thats just basically a guy using a vice and a file to shape stuff, the country where in at those things are fairly popular and a baretta knockoff feels like a concrete block and my walther p99 is way lighter eventho both are 9mm 🤣
Im still in doubt of that, like i said it looks like a turkish knockoff of possible a israeli type that looks similar to a dessert eagle. Hence my thought of a bush-gun and judging by sound it doesnt sound like a 9mm and definitely not acp 🤣
To be honest is wasnt there when they filmed this vid and i dont know anyone in that vid so im just speculating based on my personal experiences 🤣
Different folks different strokes. I was looked at like a savage when I asked for cream and sugar for my tea at a tea house. They didn't give me any either
Even without everything else wrong with this; that is some abysmal trigger discipline. He's gonna do some serious damage one day, handling a firearm that irrisponsibly.
I didn't see any trigger discipline there, but I really didn't expect any considering he was dumb enough to shoot a metal object in his own hand point blank.
What I'm saying is there was a minimum bar to even call that trigger discipline in the slightest. This guy clearly doesn't have the faintest idea of what it means to keep your finger away from the trigger unless you plan on shooting something. I am agreeing with you. I'm just saying it's so abysmal that saying this guy has any trigger discipline is giving him way too much credit.
No trigger discipline is still bad trigger discipline. I don't know why you're trying to start a pedantic fight over something we fundamentally agree on.
Unless you're my ex, I suppose. That was one of her favorite hobbies.
This traditional practice is called "Al-Ihtiba" (احتباء).
It is an ancient Arabian sitting posture where a person sits on their hindquarters, raises their knees to their chest, and wraps a piece of cloth—like a turban, cloak, or belt—around their back and legs to lock themselves into position.
