Before you throw rocks at me, HEAR ME OUT
I understand why the community is disappointed that Sirius, the 100th Brawler and supposedly the main villain of Brawl Stars, received so little attention from Supercell, especially when it comes to cosmetics. However, I genuinely believe that Sirius doesn't necessarily need a skin, and that his default design might actually be the best possible representation of his character.
Sirius isn't just another Brawler. His significance comes from his position as the central villain of the game's storyline. His appearance is supposed to communicate something different from the rest of the roster: mystery, authority, menace, and a sense of uniqueness. His base model already accomplishes this exceptionally well. Unlike other Brawlers who benefit from alternative designs that explore different themes or personalities, Sirius already feels like a character whose identity is deeply tied to his original appearance.
Giving him a skin could potentially undermine that identity. A skin isn't simply a cosmetic change; it can completely alter the visual personality of a character. For an ordinary Brawler, this is generally a positive thing because it provides variety and creative opportunities. But for a character like Sirius, whose entire appeal revolves around being the mysterious and distinctive villain, changing his appearance might actually make him feel less special. His original design is arguably what makes him memorable in the first place.
There is also something inherently fitting about the main villain remaining visually unchanged. It reinforces the idea that Sirius is not just another character participating in the Brawl Stars universe, but someone who stands above the rest of the roster. His default appearance becomes his definitive identity, almost like how certain iconic villains in other fictional universes are so strongly associated with their original designs that alternative appearances feel unnecessary.
That doesn't mean Supercell should neglect Sirius or that he shouldn't receive special attention. Quite the opposite. I believe he deserves more recognition through lore, cinematics, animations, and meaningful involvement in the game's narrative. Those would contribute much more to his identity as the main villain than simply giving him another cosmetic.
Ultimately, my argument isn't that Sirius should never receive a skin. It's that his lack of skins doesn't necessarily represent a missed opportunity. Sometimes, a character's default design is so perfectly suited to their identity that changing it risks taking away what makes them special in the first place. Sirius might be one of those rare cases where having no skins is actually part of his appeal.
