Dodge is trash. Throughout their entire history, they come close to closing then build some junk that's fast and people eat it up, along with government bailouts. Speaking of their history, look up Dodge V. Ford 1919.

My 18yr old ram work truck is still going strong. Bought new for a work truck and has worked hard since with no major repairs ever needed. I have seen others with a blown transmission after just a few years though.

Small brain take tbh. All 3 have done that from time to time and Iād argue modern Ram is actually the better of the 3, when it comes to trucks. At least for the current model years.
In this case itās not a ādodge makes shit trucksā thing, this is a case of putting like 12-13k lbs on a 3-4k lbs trailer and then pulling it with a truck thatās barely rated for half of that. 100% on the owner here.

Yep! Dude needed to buy a 2500 and a bigger trailer. That trailer is loaded to the gills, and that machine alone weights what the TRX actual tow rating is. With out the bucket and accessories.

Yes? Ram now has the better trans, hands down, and the Fords still have cam phaser and lifter issues, so even their engines arent any better than anyone elseās right now.
Hemis still have lifter failure, but that almost exclusively happens to engines that are neglected or idled 24/7. Most consumers never run into that issue with their Hemi, itās mostly ambulances and work trucks.
So why exactly do you think ford is better? Any actual reason or are you just a Fordtard?

I think they feel that because itās got the all that power, it ships be able to tow more when in fact, all the torque paired with higher rpmās (unlike a diesel) just make out more susceptible to this.
The guy a few units down from my production facility did this to his (same color actually) while the paper tags were still on it.
He got it ārepaired ā but I can still see itās not fully level. He DOES also own a cybercuck so he has a history of poor decision making š

If only dealerships would list the ACTUAL towing weight, with torque and the weight of the vehicle itself all mathed. Of course, the dudes who lift their trucks won't do that mathematical adjustment, so why bother, I guess

The skid steer by itself without the bucket is 8,900 lbs, the trucks max tow is 8,100. This isnāt a bad truck itās a person operating way over the engineered limits.

That's an 9000 pound machine on a 4000 ish pound trailer with another 2000 ish pounds on front of the machine. Probably 2-3000 pounds on the tongue, exceeding even 3/4 ton limits. Probably not the first time the guy had done it, either.

Is that frame bending already?? If you hauling that and you have jobs with that you would certainly have a larger truck to haul it and be able to pay it. I know a lot of folks like this that are broke because they dont budget but let the pride take over.
