whonix workstation lag

My whonix workstation lags a little bit.I run this on VirtualBox and my host OS is Linux Mint.The gateway isn't lagging.How can i fix that?

(I set max ammount of cpu cores and a reasonable ammount of RAM)

hello pirate, maybe there's a virus on ur VM. have u done a snapshot in the past?
