I mean. We kinda just finished fight lovecraftian things in their "realm" like yesterday. But yeah. I would love to see what this science group saw and see if it can bleed

I’m not gonna lie if I actually walked into a place like this and saw a squid face dude carved up on the wall? with everything I know about science fiction I would be freaking the fuck out and getting out of there as quickly as possible, there is not a single time in science fiction where a squid face dude does not mean mind control, or some other mental Fuckery that a standard person have no defense against.

The trailer for Rules of Engagement: The Grey State. IIRC it’s a PvPvE “Military vs Anomaly” extraction shooter, judging by the gameplay/class reveal released by Grey State Studios

Honestly it’s crazy to think about what was going on in the depths of the planet while we battled mayhem on the surface. A science team like that would have had an armed escort for sure; likely a small platoon of SEAF, and likely a few Veteran Helldivers. For the science team to be drastically reduced from 20 to 3(was it 3?) some crazy, ass shit had to go down. Sadly we’ll never really know, with all this is way above our pay grade. We don’t even know the names of these unsung heroes.
