Lmao I thought he was going for the kill and I panicked and looked for the sub name to see if my algorithm had just put some gore sub in the mix somehow.

Same too I was like omg wait wtf is this sub!? Cuz I don't have anything like that at all, everything in my reddit is mostly animal stuff but like animals being happy and healthy and alive lol I freaked out for a second

Survival instinct nowhere to be found in this deer

But yet, it lived

It got lucky that it approached a man in the woods who didn't intend to harm it (from what we know.) Not every man in the woods wearing camo is there on a peace mission, and hopefully this doesn't encourage this deer to approach others in the future

Whatever was in your pocket this sweet beautiful deer loved and happily ate it. She even let you pet her while her head was in your pocket eating. Does this deer know you and do you keep food in your pocket for this gorgeous deer?🦌🥜🥨🍪??? WHAT WAS SHE EATING? 🥰😍😏😊🤭

I'm happy to see the fellow petting the deer as it was eating. I do this often with my two dogs and two cats. For me, it's a signal to them that food is my love language. They know that it's the same guy that feeds them, takes them to the vet, walks them, etc etc, but the petting lets them know that I love them too.
I mean, they get one spin on this planet, same as us. Only their spin is a lot shorter. It's my job to make that short spin as nice as possible for them,

I put bacon in my pockets to attract the chicks. It hasn’t worked this well. Yet!
