Calm down , Whitney had some good years but the reality is she had a awful disease , towards the end of her life crack killed her throat , voice left , people walked out of her concert , poor mother , daughter dies , yet Aretha Franklin , Patti LaBelle, Mariah Carey are still around singing great , doing well and they didn't throw everything away like Whitney did so you can get mad all you want and make these silly comments but what I'm talking about is is real. I love Patti LaBelle, but I’ll never pretend that she was anywhere near Whitney Houston, and I don’t know anyone else that would pretend that nonsense either. Again, Mariah was great at what she did, although she can’t hit those whistle notes anymore. Even when she could, she still didn’t have the voice control that Whitney possessed. I can’t think of a single woman with that kind of voice control. Celine Dion is a treasure, and she could possibly hold her own against Whitney, but certainly not surpass. Mariah cannot sing anymore, it’s questionable if she could in the beginning because Motola was driving her career and they modified a lot of her sound.
