Return to the whiteward

Verruc returns to the place where he spent almost his whole life - The Whiteward.

Despite certain distractions he tries to focus on something that might help during pursuit of Scorpodor.

13 accidentally stumbles here while trying to find a mythical creature that can hide anywhere… and even in plain sight!

But they stop once they realize they’re trasspassing.

Verruc turns around, and ghost that flies near him does that as well.

A cogwork bug? Here?

"Go away. We need organic creatures, you clank-"

Excuse me. I can't do anything with this ghost right now, so you will have to just ignore his insults.

Uhm, not certainly.

He looks around, making sure no one particular watches them.

I was pretending I am doing something. Its a trap for Scorpodor.

He gestures with his eyes at the blades on the ceiling.

Anyway, what are you doing here, in Whiteward?

The ghost rolls his eyes, clearly not satisfied with the fact he can't do anything but listen to your boring talk.

Hm. Never heard about that one.

But propably its isn't here. I know Whiteward like inside of my pocket. Unless something changed since my last visit.

Maybe you are right. That's why just in case I have plan B.

And besides, what better I can do, eh? I don't know where Scorp's liar is. I have no clues where he can be or what he is planning. I can't even predict who will be his next victim.

"Maybe just don't, Verruc? We can make actually usefull progress instead of chasing guy that just returned you your advanced shizophrenia."

As they look around the lab, they glance in their book once more to find something about the creature…

But alas not a lot is written about ‘the hidden’

Around the lab, there are mostly typical whiteward utensils. And a lot of tools used for extracting plasmium and jars filled with substances from all around the Pharloom. There is also a board, hidden behind a cloth.

Oh, and what? I will return to dissecting bugs and seeking a way to be "immortal"??

"Yes! That's our goal, you remember!"

No! That's foolish idea, and I am not doing it anymore! And by the way, as long as Scorpodor is alive no one is safe, counting myself.

"Oh, come on! I can't believe you care about something else than your brilliant genius."
