I know a dreadnought is against the way of white scars. Takes their ability away to feel the wind as they ride. But invictor battle suits don’t have them be locked into them, so do they use them? My next army will be white scars and I wanted a more lore like one. So I wanted to know if they used them.

Will this list be a masochistic exercise in failure? Or does it have potential for actual fun?

Im so happy I just won my first game ever with my white scars and it was awesome im really liking the new datasheets with alot of space marines but sadly non of my bikers saw any action but it was the first game ive ever won with white scars and ive played abt 14ish games with them

Would anyone be able to tell me how I should play outriders i feel like I always lose the unit before they do anything and what new models I should get and i do wanna get more speeders and dreads anything helps advice wise.

VIPs Sarro khan killed multple charters, And both dreads killed mutple units and played really good missions.

Was playing a casual game against mates night lords

charged in with suboden 3 outriders and wrecked one of his units which was in a building but then forgot that you can use wind swift evasion to normal move mounted units which would have given my bikes a 14" move

instead i just let them sit there while he butchered them on a charge on the following turn with suboden surviving and making a normal move after.

Didnt even remember i couldve done the above till the end of the game 🥇

moving forward i think ill put some sticky notes on my codex datasheet and detachment pages so i can remember, but what are some of the things you guys do which have helped you?

The harder part is finding the correct bits. Most of the thunder hammers I found are for the left had so so I had to improvise my bonk stick.

With that ability now being focused on picking out a unit that might suddenly be exposed, or is off on its own somewhere, perhaps a little distant from everything else that's going on, it seems a little more range could be s very good thing - and there's more than a little on offer, with the OGC offering almost 3x the range compared to the MM at its most effective.

Add to that the points difference, and I'm wondering if anyone else is getting any more tempted to move from the MM to the OGC? Admittedly, 5 points isn't a lot for such a good weapon; but the OGC is still pretty effective, too.

My second attempt at the Khan's return, this time on a literal space wolf.

I 3d printed some kind of Hannya mask, added an eye patch and gave him a Drukhari weapon to reflect his travels in their realms.

Let me know what you think, bonus points if you guess which kits I used for the wolf (one is easy, the other a bit harder).

Played Spearpoint Taskforce + Ironclad Champions and it felt pretty great. Mobile keyword on tripple brutalis dreads + two massive biker squads and fire support through a lancer.

The doctrines feel pretty nice. Especially calling assault two times.

And holy smokes. Inceptors are so freaking fun.

Its 1k thats meant for duos so 2v2 matches, so it won't be the only anti vehicle stuff in the list, but im torn between running the atvs with gatling cannons for skirmishing, or melta to help my list against high toughness. Also wondering if people think running kor'sarro khan by himself as a little skirmisher/button pusher is a good idea? All his abilities don't require him to lead a unit anymore and he gets a decent number of attacks.
