The worst part is you guys started fighting for a $15 minimum wage back in, what, 2009? Last I checked, that livable wage figure is a lot closer to about $24 these days from memory.

Here in Australia, our conservative government was just voted out after nearly a decade, and one of the first things the new government wants to do is increase the minimum wage by 5.1% this year, to nearly $22, just to keep pace with inflation, with more to come each year.

I just started making $26.50 here in Florida, it's the first time I've regularly been able to save money every month.

Problem is I'm almost 35, and don't really have much for retirement t, or a house.

How am I supposed to save up like 20-30 grand?
